We are trying to decide if is worth the money to visit DQ. My DS13 and DS11 love video games. My DD8 and DD :confused3 21mths not so much. Most of all no strollers allowed. Is it worth it to chase DD21mths around while the boys play??:confused3

My DS 7 absolutely LOVED DisneyQuest. If your boys at all like virtual reality or creating things than they will love Disney Quest! They get to create their own roller coaster and other really unique things. Just a suggestion but maybe if there are 2 adults you could possibly split up for part of the day. We did this last April as my DS5 did not meet most of the height requirements so I took him to the parks while my DH took our DS7 to Disney Quest and everyone remained happy! You could definitely spend 4-5 hrs in there (much to long to chase a toddler):goodvibes

I second splitting up! You and your daughters could shop in Downtown Disney, or do lunch somewhere, maybe a Princess lunch, or play in the pool at your resort. We took our sons when they were 6,9,11 during a slow crowd period. They had so much fun, and so did DH and I. I'm glad we took the time to do it.

Thanks So Much. I Think We Will Split Up. Dd8 Has An Appointment At The Bbb And We Really Don't Mind Shopping. As For The Parks We Wont Start Our 6day Hoppers Until The Next Day. Can't Do The Pool We Will Mess Up The Bbb. Looks Like Shopping It Is!!

Does Anyone Know About The Potato Head And My Little Pony ???

Mr. Potato Head and My Little Pony are at Once Upon a Toy at Downtown Disney. If I remember correctly it's pretty close to BBB. It's right by Earl of Sandwich and the huge pin store. In February a box of either was (I think) $18. You don't have to get any ponies or heads. DD7 fit two ponies and TONS of accessories and pony clothes into one box. Some of the pony accessories are huge and we didn't get any of those... I am a potato head nut and have filled 8 or 9 boxes of pieces on our three trips. My favorite thing to do is grab a basket and put the pieces I really want into it. I then go to an empty corner, dump the basket and pack and repack the pieces until I fit as many as possible. Yes, I am nuts, but that's MY fun souvenir.

We do that too! My sister is so great at stuffing and packing, you would not beleive how much fits into the boxes. We filled two boxes last year and the kids just love to play with all the stuff:goodvibes

Well, I don't know about kids, but my husband and I (22 and 24) are big gamers, so we were excited to try out DQ. While some of the big games are fun, a lot of the smaller stuff is run down or out of service. The small games were in worse condition than Chuck E. Cheese. Also, the wait times for the big stuff is really long.

We probably won't do it again until we have kids and they beg to go.

Is the Contemporary arcade open? I heard it was closed for renovations

Oh is it, good catch.

Even if the Contemporary is closed I'd still find another resort arcade instead of DQ... it was just not worth the huge expense.

Where is a great arcade at WDW? What about the one in SM at MK? Is there one at DTD?
