For those of you who loved Disney Quest, or if your children loved Disney Quest, how long did you spend in there? I suspect my boys will love the place and I was just curious how long I could expect them to spend mesmerized by the attractions here.

Thanks :goodvibes

I haven't been in several years (it's probably been 6 or 7 years :confused3), but there were a lot of cool things to do there. My family, though, could never spend an entire day there. We probably spent 3 or 4 hours there each time (we went to DQ 2 years in a row). I think we did a water park in the morning, then headed over to DTD and did some shopping, and then experienced DQ. Being a girl who's not that interested in video games/that type of stuff, I actually did find a lot of stuff that I enjoyed. Especially the rollercoaster simulator!! So if you think your kids would enjoy the type of activities there (maybe you should look up what DQ has before you go so you can get a general idea of it all), you could probably spend several hours there. Maybe half a day?? IMHO, there's not enough there to give it a full day, but each family is different!

We tend to spend 3-4 hours there. We could spend WAY more than that there, but it is pretty noisy in there. After a few hours, our ears can't take anymore, and we have to leave. It's not the volume, but constant beeping and such.

If you can deal with the beeping and such, you could spend all day in there, especially if it's busy, and some of the wait times are over a half hour for the "main" attractions.

It also depends on how long you play skee ball for.

My DH and I spent 3 hours there on our honeymoon (we like video games). I'd imagine if we had young ones in tow we could've spent one more hour there.

If they are like my boy, there will never be enough hours at DQ. We had the annual waterparks/DQ pass and took 4 vacations in the year where we went to the waterparks in the day and DQ most nights for about 3-4 hours.
There was always tons to do. I actually look forward to going back there when we get the passes next year. It offers something for everyone.

My 10 year old could be there from open until close. Me?... 3 hours, tops. ;)

We plan on doing a couple hours, have lunch then go back for a couple more. I don't think I could take more then 2 hours of the noise at a time.

We had the WP&M option last year. We went three times! My son was 8 and is a huge video game nut, so it was right up his alley. The first day we went, we spent about 4 hours. I loved the section with old video games (like Paperboy!) and the section upstairs with Guitar Hero and Dance Dance Revolution. (There's a trivia game there that my husband had to remove me from). The second time, my husband and son went while I went shopping in DTD. They stayed for about 2 hours. It was raining our last afternoon there, so we went to the movies at AMC and then decided to kill a little time at DQ while waiting for the rain to let up. I sat in the cafe and drank wine while the guys played. There's something there for everyone. ;)

My DH loves disney quest we have to go every time. Usually we are there 4-5 hours. We usually go there the day we get to disney. We get there early in the morning take a nap, shower and go to DTD. We shop a little and go to Disney quest when it's time for our ADR's then we leave.

have a 6 and 9 year old and was there 3 hours before they needed to go to bed. We should have went more. We only made it through 2 floors:rotfl2: They loved it. We have 8 wm passes left and I think we will be spending alot of time their next time;) I just thought 3 hours would have been sufficient stupid me:rotfl:

I suggest you get there a little before opening (usually 11:30am). The lines for the rides like Jungle Cruise, Cyber Space Mountain and Pirates get long very fast. Also, most people go straight through the turnstyles onto the elevator, but if you turn right instead, then immediately left, you can get to the attractions more quickly.

We usually spend 3-4 hours there. There is a nice "lounge" area in the middle where you can sit and read or use your laptop if you don't want to play the games with your kids.

Thanks for all replies!

I suspect what will happen is the novelty will wear off quickly for my daughter and I while the boys (husband included) will spend the entire day there. They are big time gamers while dd and I are just not. I'll probably get some DTD shopping in with babygirl while the boys have the time of their lives in Video Game Heaven. LOL

It sounds like a cool place, though. I can't wait to see my boys' faces when they see it for the first time!
