I am planning on going to disney quest when I get to WDW and I was wondering how much time could a person spend there? Its 5 floors, right? I dont plan on having my kids play video games all day, we can do that here in northern michigan but alot of the other stuff to do there sounds fun. I know my kids are looking forward to designing their own roller coaster. I was wondering if we dont do the video games, how much time could we spend there? thanks.

Kim,

Here's a link that describes everything about DisneyQuest. I've never been so this is the extent of my knowledge. Hopefully others who have DQ experience will post! :)

Remember your DisneyQuest ticket is good for the entire day and you can leave and enter as you wish throughout the day.

We spend an hour or two an evening there.. course I have two teenagers. Even DW has a great time up to the point of nausia from the virtual reality rides (Aladin is the worst for this) Be sure to buy the video of the virtual coaster ride!!!

We spent 7-8 hours there. in addition to the games we ate lunch and shopped DD. we played games for about 5 hours.

During the day you can play with very little waiting but when the parks close it gets busy.

We didn't plan a lot of time for DQ, and regretted it once we got there. We LOVED it. Even if you are not a "gamer" (which I am) playing the old arcade games (Ms. Pac Man, Burger Time, Centipede etc.) can be a blast. Try to go at an un-crowded time if you can, like during the day on your departure day. That's what we did. Although we were there in September , so it wasn't crowded at night either. Stay away onthe weekends, that's when the local teens go. The very last attraction of our vacation was the virtual Pirates of the Carribean at DQ, which was AWESOME.

I love DQ!!! It's a must do on all future trips...

DH loved it, I hated it, but of course this was with two small children (2 yrs and 9 mos) and without a stroller (we had to leave it outside...and after going inside I see why).

I was absolutely miserable, we went in the evening, ds2 at the time couldn't do hardly anything at all since he was too young/too short, etc...

We are definitely skipping it this trip as well, it just isn't worth it with little ones.

Maybe in a few years when they are older we'd go back (and I'll remember to bring a baby-pack thing if I happen to have one that young with me).

:(

DS (18, major gamer) could spend his whole vacation there. The hard core gamers set up impromptu tournaments in the Score Zone. DD (15) likes the Create Zone for about an hour and we all like Virtual Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean in the Explore Zone. Mostly I just sit and read on the couches.

We haven't been yet. I always figured we'd go when the kids were older/teens. Do you think there's enough for 7 & 9 yr olds to do to make it worth it?

My 17 yo DS and his friend spent about 7 hours there on a Sunday afternoon/evening in Feb. We dropped them off and told them to take the bus back to the BW when they were done! They did Buzz Lightyear ride about 18 times-The CM's were so nice to them. My son is now interested in the WDW College Program and if his cousin has a great experience this fall there, I'm sure he'll be doing it in a year or so!

DQ is a great place for older kids and kids at heart. It's not a place to go with young children due to the limited # of "rides" they could do.
