disney quest favorites

I once spent 6 hours just playing the classic video games from the 80's... I would stay in DQ 24-hours straight if they would let me...

DH and I like Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters. He drives, I shoot.:D

My daughter does all the character drawing classes.

My son plays all the video games for free that cost a ton of money in the arcades.

I tend to try all those arcade games, like skiing, that look interesting but that I hate to waste money on in an arcade.

Hubby and I play the classic arcade games that we remember from our teenage years.

As a family, we have a blast working together to fight the Pirates of the Caribbean and brave the river rapids in a raft.

We can spend HOURS here!!

Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for Buccaneer Gold
Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride
CyberSpace Mountain
Buzz Lightyear's AstroBlaster
Mighty Ducks Pinball Slam
Ride the Comix
and
Invasion! An Extraterrorestrial Encounter.............
these are my favorites............

I like the one where you can build a roller coaster and then ride it. It is the best!

I also like Pirates of the Caribbean I like to steer the ship!

Pirates of the Caribbean
Mighty Ducks Pinball

My two favorites.

My favorite is the Pirates of the Caribbean and DH's favorite are the classic video games in the Replay zone... can't get enough of this place!!!

as children of the 80's, dh and i love the 80's video games. i also like POC and aladdin, and the food from cheesecake factory!!! :p

Lemme get this straight....once you're inside Disney Quest it's all free?! They have an 80's arcade section?! OH, I'm so there! My trip plans just keep getting better and better.

the real goofy

most of it is free......the games where you win tickets to get prizes aren't....

my FAVORITE is the AstroBlasters......its so much fun to pick on people and be mean! haha I think Jungle Cruise and CyberSpace Mountain come close behind that :)

Pirates of the Caribbean. This is by far the best attraction. You really feel that you are somewhere else--the virtual reality of it is quite believable. I wish they had a couple more like this at Disney Quest. We have been there so many times, and, although my son never tires of the same attractions, I think Disney Quest needs a new thing or two as good as this one.

Dh and I like to tell the kids that we'll be right back and then we escape the incredible din and walk across the way and have a cocktail at House of Blues!!!

That's of course AFTER we play those classic arcade games!!

We love that thing downstairs where one person steers the jeep and the other has to stand around that plexiglass floor and yell directions. The one where you have to collect all the treasures to win. My DH and I get totally into it and yell like banshees. No go right!! No back up!! Look out for that wall!! I'm sure people must think we're insane but it's one of our favorite things to do at Disney quest. Talk about being a kid again, that place is a blast. - Nancy

ha seriously, I thought the point of those was to figure it out yourself........we always get anoyed at people who yell the directions haha

Pirates of the Caribbean was the most fun I think. I also treasure the cd we made with DS singing. Oh, the Cheesecake Factory bakery is good too. :p

Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for Buccaneer Gold

Our family absolutely loves Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for Buccaneer Gold. It is such a fun thing to do together, especially when it's just the four of us and the kids run back and forth between the cannons.

I have to admit I get a little too competitive though. I start barking orders to whomever is steering.
Go Left... Left! Now STOP!! Back the other way!!!! Before we play, I always have to promise my daughters that I know it's only a game!

We love this attraction! We got hooked on it during our 2000 trip. It hadn't officially opened on the night we were there and we were lucky enough to be close by when they opened it for a hour or so ....I guess like a soft opening. A CM came over to us and asked us if we'd like to give it a try and we've been hooked on it ever since.

We had a ball and it was really neat because all the "suits" were standing outside the booths asking everyone questions about how they liked it when they came out.

thanks for all your responses, everyone. does anyone know the hours of operation?
