I was thinking of instead of giving gifts (like a beer mug, flask, compact mirror, key ring) that no one would ever dare actually use, I was going to give tickets to Disney Quest to my attendants. Does that sound corny? But here's my real question... Once you pay the admission, do you have to pay for games and rides? Plus, I could combine the gifts and the tea together. Help! :scared: :worried:

I think it sounds like a lot of fun! Jim and I had a great time there the night before our wedding. Once you pay, all the games are free, even ski-ball, the virtual reality rides, arcade games, etc.

The only things you have to pay for are the few games where you win prizes (like "the claw" games) - or if you want to buy any of your creations in the "create zone" - like "Sid's create a toy" or your artwork from the Living Easels or Animation Academy.

I bought gifts for my bridesmaids (earrings to wear with their bridesmaid dresses and monogrammed bathrobes), but we gave the groomsmen Disney Quest tickets. Since our wedding was late in the evening, the guys all had time to go together the day of the wedding. They had an absolute blast! My husband still talks about how fun it was to this day. I know that our guys enjoyed it more than they would’ve enjoyed a gift.

I think it's a great idea. DH and I had a great time there the night we went, and are planning to go back again on this trip.

I totally agree it's not corny! I'm having an intimate with just a Matron of Honor and I'm giving her tickets for her and her family to MNSSHP.

I felt exactly like you do...I didn't want to give her something that would be thrown in a box in her attic!
