i occasionally have some problems with balance and veritgo...are there any attractions at DQ that are hard to maintain balance on ( like walking on a trampoline would be as an ie) or cause dizziness? never been there but really will use the tickets we have from last time this time:)

anything that could be physical challenge there ?

guess i am asking do the physically not so fit have a hard time there?
thanks

I would think the Pirates of the Carib. wouldn't be a great choice for you. You are standing on a deck-like platform that moves around to give you that pitching and rolling sensation.

The pinball game wouldn't be a good for you. and the rowboat thing either.

One more thing -- the Aladdin virtual reality ride may throw you off balance, the way you tilt and turn -- made me a little dizzy! ::yes::

If you do Cyberspace Mountain, I'd stay out of the simulator. It can be somewhat intense, and when the designed coaster has an inversion, the simulator DOES spin you upside down.

To be honest the only thing I think is really bad is Cyberspace Mountain (a virtual reality rollercoaster, where you sit in a capsule like thing that turns upside at times depending on how difficult you make the track). The rest of them I think are pretty mild and actually really fun!

I chose not to ride cybermountain, but watched my family ride it via video cameras.

Only two others made me ill...............the Alien attraction on the top floor, I had to close my eyes - and since I was the "driver" I crashed the ship.......................Aladdin Magic Carpet made me awfully dizzy, flipped the helmet off and waited for my DD to finish. Everything else I did just fine !

I've seen alot of people leave Aladdin's Magic Carpet feeling quite ill.

DH doesn't like this at all - but I love it.

But I kinda forgot that everyone on your 'team' can hear you when you talk...so I apologize to the family I was mutturing curse words to!

With Cyberspace Mountain you can start with a gentle course (mostly green) and retry with something more aggressive to see how far you can go.

I was able to take Cyberspace Mtn with relatively aggressive tracks (some reds and lots of yellows) but virtual reality (goggles) and also many of the sit down car and truck driver video games make me quite dizzy.

Pinball slam is OK, you can always stand still and let the playing station stand up straight, it will stand still with you and there is a handle to hold onto.

Hesitant to try the fifth floor game since it requires teamwork and if I got dizzy the ship would crash or the aliens would take over as someone described above.

I can do Mighty Ducks Pinball with no problems. I can also do Pirates of the Caribbean with no problems. I can't do the Jungle Cruise raft (makes me very ill). I can't do the Aladdin ride (also very ill). I haven't even tried the Cyberspace Mt because I can't do rollercoasters.

my problem isn't nausea, it's i would just fall over so are most of these things standing or seated?..standing might not work, sitting probably would be ok( i can ride corkscrew type coasters sometimes i am fine sometimes i walk like i'm drunk afterwords :o) but it is really more a problem walking or standing on something that moves( even the the conveyor type belts are a little challengeing) or if the surface "gives" a lot so that you have to be able to compensate for it to keep upright.

thanks for all the help...so far all the rides mentioned are what looked good to me , rats!
