I took my 3 yr old dd to see PON today @ 2pm and we had a marvelous time. We were in the first row of the VIP section so absolutely no obstructions at all. The 1st half is shortened versions of Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Belle, Ariel & Mulan. There is a short intermission of about 15 minutes. The second part is Cinderella. The skating was beautiful and the costumes were "Disney". At one point the prince climbs over the border and tries the glass slipper on 1-2 kids of 3 sections and then Cinderella appears. In the end, the princesses and princes along with MIckey, Minnie and other characters skate around the edges and pat hands with all the kids who are close enough to stand at the edge. She was so excited... it was very cool and sooooo worth the money in my opinion.
It really got me ready for our trip to WDW in May and the Pirate and Princess party.

Thanks for sharing -my son is taking my Grand daughter tomorrow and I am so excited for her. :lovestruc

That's great....we go monday and we also have 1st row in the VIP....yippie! Can I ask you one thing, how cold is it up front near the ice?

its COLD !! and we were a few rows back, I did bring a small digital camera with no problems at all. Enjoy!!;)

haha, I read the tickets before we left today and decided not to bring the slr but brought the snap and shoot one. It was quite dark, so hard getting good pics. Either way the show was terrific, very disney like. Took my 6 year old and 9 months old, and they both loved (except madame 9 month old over tired who missed most of the show) the show. Was a great follow up from our Disney Vacation of last month. We sat in the 100's 19 rows up from centre and only paid $20 each because of the Entertainment Book. Well worth the price of admittion:happytv: :happytv: :happytv:

Glad you enjoyed the show. We are going on Monday.

Do you think the whole place is cold? We are sitting in section 121 row 8. I never thought about the temps!

Were most little girls in princess dresses?

We can't wait to tell our kids on Easter!

At the beginning of the show, they announce that photo and video are acceptable for your own use of memories. Wish I'd known before hand cuz I would have brought the video camera!!!
Yes... it was cool but not that bad. I took my jacket off but was wearing a sweater. My dd wore her short sleeve cinderella dress and even though I had a white cardigan for her... she didn't want to wear it.
I would say most kids were NOT in costume but alot bought the light up tiaras or Mickey ear crowns if they didn't bring tiaras from home. There were kids in costume... my kid was.
We took in our snacks. Drink boxes, bottle water, cookies and fruit chews. We ate at East Side Marios ahead of time. Also make such your kids pee before the show if you are in the VIP section.... it's like the centre of the playing field and a long walk up stairs to the bathrooms. Luckily my dd is terrified of public ones so I forced her to go at the restaurants before we went to the show!
Have fun!!!

Thats funny, i was at the Hamilton DOI show last week, and got told to put my camera away slr, but yet, hundreds of people around me were taking photos. the girl had a problem with my camera, told me if i take photos i must remove the lens? :confused3 Hello, without a lens there is no camera.

We were there on Friday as well and were in the Field12 section (the temp. bleachers at each side of the rink. We were in row D ... could have had front row when I started looking, but didn't feel the extra money was worth it and I was glad I hadn't actually. It would have been nice for my youngest, but my 7 year old kept saying "Are they the real ones from WDW?", so if she'd been closer, she would have noticed they looked different than the ones we just saw in March. They look good, it is just that they aren't as well done as in WDW. My youngest wouldn't have noticed at all (she is 4). She was enthralled (esp with Ariel).

Did anyone think the prices of anything were way overblown??? I've been to Wiggles and Barney and the prices weren't as outrageous as some of the things there! A bottle of water for $3.50??? A program was $25!!! I didn't get great pics (lighting, etc) and thought it would be a nice memento, but not at that price. Those light up spinning things were $20!! Popcorn in a box was $8 or a bucket (to keep) was $10. Slushy ice in a fancy mug was $10. Very expensive stuff. I kept saying ... we were just in WDW, remember all the stuff we bought there??? We don't need more!

All in all, it was a very good show. :thumbsup2 The girls were happy and we enjoyed it. YOungest was getting a little antsy by the end of the second half as over two hours is a long time to sit still. I'm glad the princesses finally came as I've been waiting for this show to come to Toronto.:)

Does anyone know how far in advance they know what the next year show will be. We go to Hamilton, and last yr was a repeat from 2 yrs back so it was disappointing. This yr we had HSM it was good, but did not get the Disney feeling like a regular show. I would love to know in advance what the next shows are? Is there some way to find out:confused3

We were there yesterday and the 2nd half of the show was freezing, we all put our coats on. We sat in the temp bleachers and it was great. The little ones could see and we saw the whole length of the stage.

The "stuff" was a little crazy with the prices, $10 for cotton candy but I figured it would be so I brought lots of cash.

My DD is almost 4 and she had never been to a show and she was just mezmorized (sp?).

I did bring my DSLR and nobody said anything about it. I took about 150 pics so hopefully some turn out!

You might want to just keep checking this website for updates. I'm not sure how far in advance they list the shows, but this would probably be the place to find them. Good luck!
