Disney Princess & Me dolls ????

Does anyone have one of these dolls yet? Is the body soft or vinyl? Quality? How about the hair? I would rather spend $49.99 that the price of an AG doll, but I suspect the quality of the AG is better.

Any info would be appreciated!

The bodies are vinyl but the hair is fabulous!!! IMO, it's a great "try" doll to see if your daughter has an interest before investing in AG.

I have all of them for DD ~ they'll be dispersed over the next year *who to give for C-mas

I haven't unboxed them ~ but I fairly sure it's an all vinyl body *you could watch this QVC video *they're the same dolls. You can also get them from www.disneystore.com Here's a post *from an AG message board* about the hair ~
Yes it is rooted hair, but according to the TRU website it is the "finest hand rooted hair imported from Japan, called Kanekalon". But I'm still not sure if it is the same quality as AG:/. I always get nervous when I buy non-AG dolls, because whenever I purchase a non-AG, their hair and quality is always horrible. I really hope the Princess & Me dolls are good quality.

saw them on QVC yestertday they looked so pretty and I was so tempted to get one for DD but we are on a budget and all her gifts are bought already

I probably won't end up getting one of these, as we are at 4 AG dolls and countint at this point--she wantsone of the ones you can go on line with for Christmas this year, but I am curious if the outfits will fit the AG dolls? That would really make things easy....

Hey, just an FYI for everyone....TRU has these same dolls. On Facebook today, you can view the Big Christmas Toy Book ( just check "like") anyway, one of the deals is if you spend $75 on the Princess and Me dolls / accessories you get the free wardrobe. ( which is like $34.99) The special goes from 10/31 - 11/24. Hope it helps someone out !!
