I have read several post where people suggested giving their child a disposable camera, that it makes a great souviner etc. I was so excited about the idea!!

I found the cutest thing at Target. It was on an end cap near the stationary/gift wrap. It is an offficial Disney product. It is 800 speed film with flash, 27 exposures. The front of thecamera has a landscape illustration with "the Castle" in the background and Snow White, Aurra, Ariel and Cindy in the foreground. On the back of the package it says"You never know when something magical might happen. So be sure to have your Disney Princess ready-to-use camera with you. Take it wherever you go to capture every special and unexpected moment. Who knows maybe you'll even get a shot of a certain PrincCharming."

They are $6.99 each and on the back it says"Distributed by Target Corporation" so I'm guessing unless they make them for another store thats going to be the only place to have them.

I am very excited about these cameras :Pinkbounc in case you couldn't tell my DD will be thrilled with them too, they have only taken pictures a couple of times and did an okay job for little girls. I can't wait to see what they see!!:Pinkbounc

Thanks! I'll have to get one for DD. Wish they had something similar for DS...

How cool, thanks so much for the heads up! And today is my official Target day, too...perfect timing. :)

Neat! Sure hope I can find them at my local Target!

My sister's taking her kids (6, 4, and almost 2) to WDW Columbus Day weekend and I've been gathering things to make the girls (4 & 6) Disney goodie bags.

Has anyone else been able to find these? I scoured my Target today, but couldn't find them anywhere.

No ... I looked at one of the Targets near my home on Friday and didn't find them ... guess I need to check the other two ... but I hate to go into Target coz I always spend money, LOL!!!

What area are you in, Aunt Minnie?

I even asked my friend who works at Target and she had no idea. She called over the manager of the electronics area (where most of the disp. cameras are - we also checked the party aisles) who said maybe these are only SuperTarget items or that it's possible they'll get them when stock changes on Oct. 1st. She gave me the store phone # to call her on the 1st.
Target also has some cute and inexpensive - $4.99 for 27 exp./800 speed film - cameras with halloween symbols on them for anyone going to MNSSHP!

I did get a "Mickey's Magical Mirror" game for GameCube on clearance for $12.50 so it wasn't a total waste!

I bought these at an upstate New York store. It was a regular Target.

I don't know if they had any of them in the camera/electronic dept. These were near the wrapping paper. There were one or two other designs too, maybe Hulk and Poke-mon/Ugi-oh design. I'm not really sure of the other designs, but they were "boyish" and not Disney. Maybe they had them in that area so people would buy them to take pictures at a birthday party.

For those who know someone who can look stuff up here is more info:

On the receipt it is listed as item 056080043 DISNEY PRNCS

that same number appears above the upc
here is how the UPC looks
8 2233300447 6
I am never sure if you are suppose to include the tiny numbers that are in front and back of the bar code, so I put them here little in case you do need them.

Usually I can never find anything I ever read about others finding, so maybe this is a new item that will be coming out for you soon.

Auntminnie.....

Wheere in upstate New York... I am in Niagara Falls and have gone to 3 targets and not found them.. I want to get if for my mom who is going with us..

Thanks so much!!!!!

Checked back today but no luck. :( My friend that works at Target did mention she saw Pokemon cameras at another store. Too late for me to get them before our trip, Good luck everyone else. They sound adorable!

I finally found these last night. I found them at the smallest, junkiest Target we have in the area LOL. They were a little hard to find, as they did not look like what I was expecting. They look more like kids cheap cameras, rather than disposables. I was looking for more of the cardboard box type Kodak ones, but they are actually plastic cameras, with a clear plastic on cardboard container if that makes sense. I found them in the aisle with the film and the other disposable cameras. They are really cute.

I am going to have to look. DD loves to take picture and always wants to use our digital camera or camcorder.

Thanks for the tip.

I have looked for these in about 6 Targets in the Louisville area. My daughter would love these and I would like to get them for the girls for our Disney Vowel renewal next year.

HI!

I was able to find them at the Target at Neshaminy Mall for anyone who lives near Phila. They were sold in the camera dept. alongside the disposable cameras. They were $6.99.

If I can help anyone with purchasing one - just let me know at disney5@msn.com.

Good luck!

Maureen

Mine finally had them.. They were in the camera/flim area..

They also had some differnt ones, Spongebob and others.. HTHs..

I just got back from my Target in Milford, MA and they had a place for them in the camera department but there were none there. I asked the boy stocking and he said they are a new product and he may have some in the back but it would take him a while to find them. I waited in the store as long as I could but he never found them.:(

But I do have hope that they will have them as there is a place where they will be stocked.:D

I saw these yesterday at my Target in Virginia. They were in the toy section, hanging with all of the other princess toys. Try checking there.

Good luck.

Yeah
I found them finally. At the Louisville Outerloop target, if anyone is looking in the area. They were in the camera area. My daughter is going to be so excited.

The one thing that concerns me about these is the fact that they have 800 speed film. 800 is not good for bright sun shots, so I am not sure how well they will work at Disney. I really wish they would have put 400 in them.
