Hi everyone

This is a big plea to all you guys & gals out there, im desperate to see the special programme aired on the food network i think it may have been called unwrapped. Im from the Uk so am un able to see shows like that airing. :sad2: :furious:

I ve read sooo many people say how fantastic  it was that i am now beyond desperate to see it.

If anyone out there has a link to a site that shows the programme or if someone can PLEASE post a link on youtube.com i would be so so greatful. You d be making this Felines day :yay:

Lots of pixiedust: sent to you all

No, it isn't on again as far as it shows on foodnetwork.com. It was only one for like one week last time during wedding season and they didn't play it again. We might have to wait until next May. I too wish it was on because I really love Tera Lees colo scheme and wanted to see her floral arrangements again and I tried doing a google search for you and everything but no luck.

hmmm now I am confused. I thought she was talking about the wdw food special about the parks and resort restaurants? Or maybe it is the fairytale wedding special?

There are two...the special one featuring fairy tale weddings, and unwrapped Disney! (This they also talk about wedding cakes though). I am assuming that the FTW one is the one feline figaro is speaking of. Unfortunately, I dont see either one of them listed in the schedule to play on foodnetwork.com. They play the weddings one once or twice a year! Usually during the wedding weekends that runs in May! Sorry about that! Maybe someone has a tape!

I would love to see it too. It's just not fair that we dont get these special programmes is it?
I wish there was a way we could get to see them.

What if you tried writing to/emailing FoodNetwork to see if you could purchase a tape or dvd of the shows you are interested in? Some shows I have seen offer a copy of the show (for a fee) or a transcript, so it might be worth contacting them to see if this is possible. Good luck! :lovestruc

That is a really good idea!

FranP:

Thankyou for your fantastic idea :thumbsup2 ! i may just try to contact them, only problem is the dvd would have to be multi region as im from Uk. Still its worth a try!

Its very frustrating as here in the Uk we don't get to see any programmes aired about Disney weddings:furious:. They tend to be seen as tacky & are frowned upon :sad2: . People are n't always as open minded as they should be so seeing a programme especially over here would open a lot of peoples eyes to the many possibilities out there.

Still im determined to see it especially the one aired on the food network & will not give up.

Thankyou everyone for all your suggestions, if anyone ever finds a link pleeeeease let me know. :thanks: pixiedust:

I actually have it on tape I could possible have someone copy it and send it out to you.

hcb1983 : :wave2:

That would be fantastic if its possible  , dvd would have to be multi region though (think in America it goes by PAL) for it to work here in Uk. If you are able to do it then id be soooo greatful.

If its poss please send me an e mail through my sig so we can sort something out. Lots of pixiedust: to you

did you work it out? i have the fairytale weddings special on my DVR and could record it to a VHS tape and mail it, if you can use that. I was unable to catch the "unwrapped disney" special.

sorry if this isn't correct (I'm no techie) but don't PC / laptop DVD's play any kind? Also, think it's the playback DVD that would need to be multi-regional?
I can play the DVD from DFTW on my laptop OK.

some laptops are only regioned to a certain area. mine can play region 1 but i'm only allowed to change region 2 or 3 times and after that it locks on whatever region you had it on last! i dont want to risk it!

Karentan:  Thank you as always for your Pm, have mailed you back

ItGirl753 : :thanks: Thankyou for being soo kind as to offer me your help, you're my fairy godmother ! If you can somehow record it for me then you will have made my day :rotfl: . My Df seems to think your idea would work, im not too clued up on computers etc so am hoping he's right. Mark seems to think that although we re not able to play American dvds on our Dvd player due to region Diff that we would be able to play them on the playstation. We ve got the Fairytales wedding dvd Disney send out which plays perfectly on our Playstation. It comes out in black & white( due to region change) but a part fron that plays perfectly.

If you' re sure you'd be willing to help then send me a Pm & we ll sort something out.

Karentan: If you get to read this do you think it ll work ??

Thanks again ladies

Lots of pixiedust: & :goodvibes

it should work figaro, although it depends on if you get it sent to you as dvd or video!!
i still want to see it too though!!!!

Karentan: If i do manage to get a copy then i swear i ll send it on to you once i ve watched it like 1000 times. Fingers crossed girlie
