Disney Play App -- any recent experiences?

Now that it's been out for about a month (I think), what are recent experiences like? Do most things actually work now? Does it drain your battery to use?

I played while in the Slinky dog line & Toy Story Mania a few times a couple weeks ago and it really drained my battery. It was fun to play though, a few times it kept kicking me out of the Slinky Dog game, that was annoying.

One thing-you can play the games without being in the park. You just have to click “go to Hollywood Studios” and then “I’m in the park” on the popup. If there are any interactive elements or things in the queue, those won’t work, but you can play the basic games.

we have played it 2 times while at the parks. It will not operate properly on my android but my DD has an iphone and it works great there
We have played it while in line for TSM and SDD, both game experiences are really fun , last night we played at MK during the AP event, the Space Mountain game is great cause you have to keep searching for codes through the queue it also gives you the option to say if you are in the standby or fp, I'm assuming there are different elements in the fp queue. Then we played in the Peter Pan queue, again they use a scavenger hunt sort of game to look for things inside the kids bedrooms. I really hope they continue to add elements to the game, it makes the time go faster and the games are creative

My DD12 played it some while we visited Disneyland this July. Together we enjoyed doing the trivia, but other than that the app did not keep her interest much. She got on it maybe 3 other times and only for a couple of minutes.
