Disney Planning Kit - DVD???

Has anyone ordered this? I did about a month ago and it finally came today, rushed home to put it in the DVD player and it doesn't work (the main menu does) but that is it, everything else skips and keeps saying bad disk. I thougth the DVD would be the ideal version, but I should have got the video, now I doubt that the video would even get here in time if I ordered it today. I'm so upset, I was looking forward to showing the boys all the things they will get to see.

I think they have issues at the supply depot. I too ordered a DVD - but for the DCL and just last week I got (after about 4 weeks of waiting) a VHS tape of Magical Gatherings!!!! I don't even have 8 family members for goodness sake!!! I just want to know about my cruise!!!! LOL Oh well - Patience is a virtue they say and I suppose I will just re-order - thank goodness it isn't "1 per customer"

If it makes you feel any better...I went through the same thing We were so excited about watching it and planned our evening around our Disney fix...then boom, we got through the menu and that was it.
We did reorder it and the second one worked great. It came in about 2 weeks. we ordered it on-line from Disney.ca The picture quality was nicer on DVD than on video and the DVD had a lot of extra info than on videos from previous years.

Ordered our DVD from disney.ca about 3 weeks later arrived Great quality. Can't wait to get there

Dh suggested trying it on our portable DVD player and it works on it. I tried something else in our regular one and it worked, then tried the Disney one again and same problems. So not sure if our portable player is less sensitive or what, but at least I can watch it now.

Got mine in about 3 weeks too-works fine.

Sometimes your DVD player has to be able to play what is called
VCD or SVCD. Check the manual.

Glad you could watch it on another machine, isn't it wonderful!!!
