Airport Transfer with Kids

So, we are gearing up for our annual Disney trip this coming May and I'm looking into airport transfer options. We've always just used Mears Connect - while it's worked out okay most of the time, there was one epic fail where they abandoned us for our return trip to the airport. We used them again after that for lack of better options, and while it was OKAY, it took FOREVER to get to our resort on arrival day (the trip involved a stop and waiting at a second terminal, then dropping off some people who had the express, then we stopped at probably 5 more resorts before finally getting to where we were going).

That said, I'm open to exploring our options for our coming trip. We have kids who need car seats, so I think that rules out Uber/Lyft, so basically I suppose I'm looking at car services etc. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations or suggestions on Mears alternatives that won't cost me an arm and a leg. Thanks!

We've used HappyLimo the past 3 years, 2 times with a 5 point and a booster. Once with just a 5 point.

Orlando Transfer. Sergio and his team are Great! On time, professional, clean cars, good rates. Their website says they offer free car seats and booster seats, need to request them in advance. They also offer a grocery stop.

People here are also saying great things about GearFusion. I believe it's run by former Disney CM's who were laid off during covid.

I believe you’re thinking of both Orlando Magical Rides, and Cast & Crew Transportation. I do not believe that the owners of GearFusion are former CMs.

I know it is no fun to get stuck at the airport and have to find alternate transport to start a vacation.. but being abandoned when you need a ride TO THE AIRPORT is totally unacceptable! It is one thing to be late starting a vacation, but a real disaster to miss a flight home! How did you get to the airport in the end if I may ask? Were you worried you may miss the plane? This is really our biggest worry and why we are concerned about finding a car service/bus service that is 100% reliable.. We also have to travel to MCO in the morning and so fear rush hour traffic so have been checking the various transport options but are still looking for the most reliable and on time.

I know with Mears they pick you up so early to get you to the airport. If they were late, missed your pick-up stop, there would be plenty of time to call them, grab a cab, Uber, etc.

It's nice to have options.

I can't recommend Mike's Orlando Transport enough - they are great. I've used them several time and also have them booked again for my trip for May.

When was the last time you used them? I got a quote from them and they're the cheapest out of nine choices, but the more recent reviews on TripAdvisor leave a little something to be desired.

I haven't used them for a couple of years but have them booked for my trip in May.
I have no doubt that they will be as great as they were, you're always going to get a few people complain. I looked at the reviews. I can tell you I've had nothing but lovely emails from them so far and they were nice when I had to change my hotel and let them know.

You'll always find more people will go online to complain rather than compliment.
I've had no issues so far.

We used MCO2Disney by ATC in February and were really happy. First time using a car service and loved it. Car seats were VERY clean and installed correctly in the way requested. I was able to use a discount code that a channel on you tube had, which knocked the price down. The extra help with getting our luggage was really nice too.

We only used them from MCO to the resort since we used the cruise transfers back but I would definitely use them in the future.

Just wanted to provide feedback, we are back from our trip and used Mike's which I recommended.
Had another wonderful experience with them, they took us to Legoland from Orlando and back.
Totally recommend them if needing transport.
