Disney Pins??

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask... Going to bring our 6yo girl for the first time in Feb and want her to try the pin trading thing. We are by no means into pin trading, and don't really know what ones are rare or anything like that, we just want her to have fun and pick the ones she wants.

I had heard that it's best to buy some authentic "cheap" pins, whatever they may be, and then let her trade for ones she likes.

I checked ebay for pin lots, but have heard that many are fake. Can anyone recommend a good seller that sell authentic pins? Either on ebay or anywhere else....

I did what you are suggesting. I bought a "lot" of Disney Pins on ebay. Look for lots of good feedback to help you judge the seller. Then we took those pins and used them as traders. You may want to suggest to your daughter to pick a theme. Perhaps different Tinkerbells, Rides, Winnie the Pooh characters, etc. etc. Do buy the locking pin backs (at any Disney store that sells pins) so they don't fall of the lanyard. I would not put the trader pins on your daughters lanyard as that just takes time to get it off.

If you buy from someone with a high feedback score and they say they dont have sedema? euro pins etc etc, you are going to be pretty safe. I bought from EBAY with no problems at all. If you find something that looks 'too good to be true' it probably is. You're pretty much going to be $1.75 - $2.00 each normally for trader pins.

Alot of the Disney stores will have the pins on sale too. You can catch them for 3 for 4.99 sometimes. Ebay is also a good start too.

Be careful. Pin trading can be very addictive. LOL My kids and I really like trading. Goodluck.
