Disney pins on carry-on??

Hi - Does anyone know if I will have a problem with bringing Disney pins on my carry-on luggage. DH and I are traveling sans kid to a conference at the Dolphin and I am determined to do carry-on only. DD wants me to trade for some Pooh pins, so I'll have ten or so tucked into my bag. We are on a TIGHT schedule -- I don't want to get held up at the security check. Has anyone taken the pins on the plane with them? thanks.

Call the airline. But they dont let you bring nail files or tweezers, so I could see how pins might be a problem. If I were you, Id put them on the lanyard and hang your keys from it and wear it like you havent given it a second thought. If it is a probelm maybe you could agree to gate check them.

We were in Disney World in May, flew on Delta. We had our pins in our carryon and didn't have any problems. Enjoy your trip!

had 3 lanyards with 15 pins each and had no problems with them in the carry on

I made my daughter put hers in the checked bags, but saw several people wearing theirs in the airport, and on the plane. This was on ATA.

I crazily toted 2 pin brief cases in my carry on last Dec....while having the pins on the plane wasn't a problem...different security teams spent different amounts of time searching....Logan in Boston took almost 10 mins...went through every page and zipper compartment....

I definately won't take as many with me this year...
