Disney Pillows

When I first joined this forum reading it you would think the DVC mattresses were so bad you had to bring your own! People would "warn" prospective members be careful.... DVC mattresses are terrible and not like a real hotel!

How times have changed!

I don't love the Disney beds... my favorite in the Orlando area are at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress (that I have stayed at). Also not a big fan of the Westin so-called "Heavenly" bed...

Forget the DVC Mattresses... buy the DCL bedding and mattresses....

I had the Heavenly bed purchased from Nordie’s and loved it. We purchased a new mattress from Mattress Firm last November and aren’t loving it. Had I researched the link @VGCgroupie posted for Disney’s beds, I would have considered it. The new beds at BLT seemed good.

I never gave much thought to the pillows and now you guys have me over analyzing Disney pillows.

Since we are on the subject of Disney bedding, am I the only that finds their blankets have a funky odor?

That's the Amazon description of the ones I bought - the medium, not soft - they were the ones that were more stuffed. They're still available on Amazon at least.

Why not just take the pillows and pay the incidental fee? You could even tell Disney to charge you for the pillows you are taking

I thought about this and I should ask them how much. I dont care if theyre older, they are way better than my current knockoff lol

Did you get the Sahara Nights ones, or the Westex ones? The Sahara Nights are definitely not as stuffed and are flatter - the Westex ones are very much overstuffed and rounder/fatter - they are more like the kind your head sinks into but doesn't flatten out to touch the mattress. That was part of the reason I keep the two types on my bed - I almost never sleep in one position - I'll rotate from back to side to stomach, and wanted pillows that could cover all positions.

So I got the Sahara Nights medium firm because thats what vgc told me to use and its a complete lie.

I went to vgc this week and took my pillow to compare and they are nothing the same. The Sahara Nights is much flatter and I dont know why they direct people to that.

The tags are different and they do not feel the same. Perhaps i will try the westex!
