What you mean this sign will be gone? No one has gotton my premission to make any changes. Are they going to put in something new? Is toontown going to be used for the new expansion I read about?

Have you EVER stopped to notice all the details inside Animal Kingdom?

Nice shot of it Dave! Funny- I have recently done two days of shoots of the houses and not sure I ever saw more than a barely remembered glimpse of that! Can't even think exactly where it is???

Nice grab Canoli! I have noticed details, mainly the carvings- being that way myself. And there are a few 'back trails' very few people ever see. Lots of details, but not as 'clean' as MK, ya know? We know you are not supposed to leave your cooler on the roof- or clothes lying along the river side...

One of my favorite things about AK is all the "realistic" details! things like rusty bikes, coolers, etc....
I want to spend one day in AK just taking pictures of all the little details!!

Yes Toontown is to be leveled to make room for the new expansion at MK. Here's a link with more info.

I agree, very sad. Our kids always loved that area.

Son of a gun! But... that is one thing that will remain! Goofy's Barnstormer is remaining.

(So why can't they keep Mickey's house and as some one else suggested, expand the 'neighborhood' adding Pixie Hollow St behind it?)

I forget the exact figure, but I think it was 3 or 4 hours that the 'face characters' spend in makeup before they go 'on stage'. Again, back stage tour.
