When I look at this pic now, I keep asking myself "why oh why did I not wait and take this shot as a monorail was passing by..."

Yea, but if you would have waited the lights probably would have changed back to just white and it wouldn't be so beautiful!
It is such a FANTASTIC picture!!!!!!

Thanks, that's probably very true! For todays POTD, I didn't have to wait at all to get a passing monorail in the pic. In fact, I had just taken a photo of the upsidedown waterfall from a different angle and was walking over to set up for a shot like this when the monorail came by. I didn't even look through the viewfinder before takinig this one as the monorail came by just as I was getting to this spot.
