Beautiful shot!!!!! Great time of day for this too. :thumbsup2

Always enjoy a good shot of the CP, and that is!

:)

Thanks to both of you for the compliment. Both of you have some impressive shots on this thread along with others like Bill, Code, Evad, Joe, Jamian and Loribeth just to name a few. I am impressed with the creativity all of you display when the photo is taken and in the post processing after the shot. It is a very talented group of people.

Quick story on this photo, there was a lady sitting on the edge of the bench when the photo was taken. I did not want to ask her to move and light was fading so I took the shot and removed her in post processing. Here is the before shot, nothing against her, just thought the shot would be better without anyone in the foreground. It is not the greatest work because you can see the work that was done if you look closely but was about the best I could do.

I actually took the 'same' shot from that seat position! LOL! I was tired- but the CP looked so beautiful!

What manner did you remove her with? Pixel by pixel manually, or cut and paste from another similar image?

:)

I didn't like my last photo with the sun bubbles (or whatever they call it) so I found another one and messed around with it, let's see if this is better:

Question for you more experienced photogs... is Flickr a better site to host photos on compared to Photobucket?

I have used most every photo site on the web- going back to the original, Photo Point, bought by MS and killed off shortly thereafter, and aside from that, my favorite for many reasons is Webshots.

However, becuase webshots will only share a 600 pixel picture here, I use Photobucket for here as it gives you a full size or at least screen size image for posting here.

I would have prefered the cut and paste but did not have a similar picture. I used the clone stamp and copied other parts of the photo. It was slow and tedious work.

Oh ya! I know! A friend (one of many who have made such requests of me- Corel Photo Paint was my first program and photo work has always been my main puter passion since I started in 95) had an incredible family picture at Epcot, in front of a fence, flower bed, Big Ball in back ground- and a Rainbow! But despite my CONSTANT scolding, had the DATE imprint on!!!! (Curse whatever FOOL ever put that option on a camera!!!) So they sent it to me to 'remove' the date that laid across all that plus the kids legs! Spent a few hours and near pixel by pixel cloning on that one.
