...of many to come. I shot somewhere around 2600 pix in four days, mainly since it will probably be 12/08, at the earliest, before we make it back to The World, and I needed enough "ammunition" for 18 months worth of potd's!
most current digital cameras tag their JPGs with something called EXIF (Exchangeable Image File Format) information. it contains tons of information about the camera itself and the settings used in that particular shot.
for most people who post here, you can right-click and save the photos and then use some kind of viewer to see the EXIF data. even windows explorer will show you, just right click on the icon and select properties, go to the summary tab and go into advanced mode if it's not already.
can't do it with the above photo because it's obviously been through some sort of post processing. probably shot in RAW format which is something I haven't toyed with yet.
Thanks for this info! I am obviously just learning about digital. I'm making my way thru this thread - on page 940, have picked up at page 1500 and keeping current, but won't post one of my own until I make it all the way thru. There are some awesome photos on this thread! Gosh, I feel like I know some of you! I am drawing inspiration. THANKS AGAIN!!

Can't wait to see them all! I just got a 2GB card for my camera.. it cost 1/3 the amount of the 1GB card I got when I bought the camera 2 years ago! I hope to fill them both up in October. :>
I guess I've always been so focused on the Castle, that i never really paid attention. One thing I want to be sure to do on this next one is really take the time to notice the details of my surroundings. (if the kiddies let me!
I took those statue pics while my son was goofing around with the mickey and walt statue. Most of my pictures had my son in them. I wish I had taken more pictures of scenery, rides etc. It's a great excuse to go back soon.
Here's my potd.

Are you sure you weren't? It seemed like the entire population of FL was at WDW the four days we were there! Every park was packed by about noon or so. With Commando Mom in charge, however, it was not a problem for us. By the time the late risers made it thru the turnstiles, we were done with the "biggies" and were looking for a nice, cool place to eat lunch before returning to the resort for the afternoon. BTW, I think Mrs. Y may be on the cusp of becoming a "convert". She remarked on Wednesday, after we departed, that she was "not Disney-ed out", and was also heard to say things like, "When we go back, we need to ride _________" and "When we come back, I'd like to eat at _________", several times. I think that being *in* the AK parade on 7/11 really hit the nail on the head for her (me, too!).
