I was just curious, why were all the Mickey statues there?

It was their last stop on a nation-wide tour before they were auctioned off somewhere - was it New York?

When were the statues there? I work down the street from the Ronald Reagan Building and I never knew they had been there.

It was over two years ago. 3/19/2005 - 4/30/2005 - I found the dates on the computer. There were a few of them out on Pennsylvania Avenue, a couple in the Food Court inside, but most of them were in the courtyard near the Woodrow Wilson room. I can't even remember how I heard about it - maybe in the Weekend section - but it wasn't really advertised much. If it ain't political...

That was at MGM Studios during the Stars/Cars Motor Parade. They had a section with villians... and there she was!

Sorry for the extreme close up! I've gotten pretty good at taking pics of myself at arms length. This is in Mexico. Every year I try on the biggest hat I can find and this year we thought it would be funny to do the opposite!!
