Hey, I live in Hoover, Alabama, and we don't even HAVE a phone book! Just got indoor plumbing a couple years ago...

In all seriousness, I've about run thru anything from last year, worth posting, which is why I *desperately* need to go back to The World. July can't get here quickly enough.

Those stain glass windows are so neat - where were they ????

They USE to be at Downtown Disney Marketplace. It was a huge kaleidoscope outside the World of Disney store. A little over a year ago they took it down.

Wow - makes me want to be there! Just exactly where is this gem hiding? I figure in Epcot France, but ????

It's located in France at Epcot. As you cross the bridge into France, it's down by the water on the right hand side.

Its when you walk into World Showcase and go over the bridge on the way to France I believe.. I think its right before there.. you have to look over the side of the bridge on the right hand side to see it.. its really cool because the painting on the picture is of the building in front of it..

My DW and I are returning to WDW in October. I would like to purchase a new camera before we go. I would like to get the best picture quality possible without having to lug a big bulky camera around. Could some of you experts steer me in the direction of a really nice point and shoot. Price is not really a factor as long as I get really nice quality photos.

Well, I don't blame her!!! But to get a shot like that, I'll most likely grin and bear it. Do you need to have dined at the CG to get to that spot? Or do you know of another place? We'll be dining at Chef Mickey's and I've never been to the Contemporary before. Thanks!

I'm not certain. I've only be to the CG in the Contemporary. There are stairs though on one end. I would imagin you could elevator up to the top floor of rooms then up on to the deck? A CR fan may know for sure.

I HIGHLY recommend that you post this question on the dis Photography board. There are a bunch of forum regulars who are always ready for fresh meat...er...I mean...who are always ready to offer advice.

Seriously, that is the place you need to go for advice on this topic.

Seriously, you NEED to do this (if you haven't already). They've all helped me (uh, excuse me--they've all helped this FRESH MEAT) out in the past week.

They are extremely knowledgeable over there. I think they will set you on the right path.

Thanks! It never ceases to amaze me the extreme detail that Disney pays attention to in the parks. It just reminds us to take the time to slow down & LOOK!

Now I'll just have to remind the family that we need to do just that... well, maybe after we get the big rides in for the day!
