St. George is the dragonslayer at Germany (in the middle of the courtyard), but at Italy it's St. Theodore, of the Roman province of Bithnyia. His Epcot column looks just like the version at the entrance to St. Mark's Square. In both Epcot and Venice, the column is one of a pair. On top of the other is the winged lion, guardian of Venice.
