And he's going to stop here in Quebec for the "reveillon" (our meal at midnight) and eat some "tourtiere"(meat pie). After all, he did say he enjoyed it!

Evad - Yes, the trains go through the Everest shrine tunnel thing during the ride . . . the train goes through it just before they're on that track part that's in YECKIM's pic. I searched and searched for ya but couldn't find any decent pics of it.

And here is a video of the entire Everest ride-through. The train is entering the shrine at 1:08 in the video time.

Thanks so much for the info and links. I can't wait to ride this on our next trip. It is very high on my list of new things to do while at WDW.

In the middle of the picture, why does the walkway change color. I am sure knowing Disney that it is for some reason that i dont know?

If I am not mistaken, it's red to give it a "red carpet" feeling as you go into the park and down Main Street.
