I really like how willis37862 quotes the pictures too, so I got curious and only just NOW realized how to quote multiple quotes in one message... I kept meaning to ask, but never did. Now if only someone could teach me how to put a link of the picture into my words (if that makes sense) instead of quoting the whole picture... Please?
Here's (hopefully!) the simple version! It took me a while to figure it out, all by trial & error.
To mulitple quote messages, go to the bottom right hand corner of the message. Next to it you will see a button for "quote" and then a button with a quotation mark - ". Click on the quotation mark and it will turn red. Every time you see a message that you want to quote from, click on that button.
When you are done reading the messages, click on the "quote" button and all of the messages will show up in the "reply to thread" box. You can edit the quotes (shorten them, remove photos, highlight something said), then hit the "submit reply" button when you're done.
To do the funky hyperlinked quotes, well, they take a lot more time (an patience!).
Step 1: Every message has a number in the top right hand corner. Click on the number and another box will open with just that message in it. Copy the url.
Step 2. Open a "reply to thread" box and type your message, using the icon just below the smiley face button that has the world and a link. Paste the url into the new box from the thread you want quoted; hit enter and the link will now be in the message.
You will now notice that the URL will be there twice - one will be highlighted in blue. Here you can type anything you want - a name, photo, description, etc. Whatever you type here will end up being the hyperlink.
Clear as mud? I hope this makes sense. If I left anything out, sorry in advance! Maybe someone can add it.
