Disney Photopass

Not sure if this is the right forum to post this question. Has any one done the photpass system yet? Is it expensive? worth the money? Does the price include copies of the pictures or do you just get the picture CD and have to pay to print? Going to wdw in August and I've been practicing my photography skills . Since we're going with my a lot of family members I would like to have some really good pictures.

Photopass is the name of the photos you can buy in the park. Now you can buy them before you leave the park OR you can buy them from the comfort of your home. I believe they are $12.95 at both the park and online.

They give you a Photopass card to swipe each time you get your photo taken in the parks (not ride photos though).

The Photopass CD is $99 and you would still have to get the photos printed somewhere like at home or at Walmart. So printing them will be an added cost. The CD fits 300 photos.

For us the CD isn't worth it cause we don't get enough good photos taken. I just buy 2 or 3 from home.

I LOVE that we can buy them at home now and not before we leave the parks.
