Hello all, i have a question i was hoping you could help with.

In November last year there was some news on one of the Disney fansites about the PhotoPass system that is used at Disney in America being trialled in Disneyland Paris. Just wondering whether this is still the case or whether this isnt the case anymore?

Thanks

Martin

I've never actually seen that trial.

At the beginning of May it was still (almost) the same as last year. You still can buy prints only, but the card they give you now has a barcode, and you can view the pictures at all locations. Maybe that's the trial they meant? :confused3

I wish they would really focus on photo's at DLP, it's one downside...

They need:

1) Photo locations with photographers stationed there, where you can pick up the photo or enter the ID online later and buy.

2) An online photo system where you can enter the picture ID and view/pay for when home (saves also transporting them back)..

It seems really backwards considering the park is one of the newer ones!

This is really useful information. I just guessed they had the PhotoPass like the American parks. This will help with planning for our trip! Thank you.

Altho I would love DLP to have the photopass system that WDW has; it sounds like this is a step in the right direction as when we were there last year you still had to buy photo's at the hotel at the hotel shop, etc.

At least now you can buy all your photo's from one location and possibly get them cheaper??

Do you know how long photo's at DLP are stored for now?? thanks:thumbsup2

The card with the barcode could also be given to other offical photographers in the parks and then you can view all your photos together why you went to purchase them later.

PhotoPass is somthing DLP should realy look take up.

Three or four days, I am blanking at the moment. I posted the cut off somewhere here before. I wouldn't leave it that long though, a photo with Mickey was gone on the dot at the end of the deadline.

And yes, you can buy all your photos at one location. Would have been really nice if anyone had told us though - we only found out by chance when I mixed up the cards and gave one from DLH the day before to the CM at Cheyenne.

Thanks:thumbsup2 That's naughty of DLP for not holding onto your photo's for the full 3 days.

Totally agree with you on this one - DLP sometimes aren't very forthcoming with useful information like this.
