I used the photopass service for the first time last month and thought it was fantastic .I did my pre-order at just under the 60day limit(as i too was worried about this 60day limit).We got a total of 484pics,then when i got home and added my borders,resized them+done some black+white pics i ended up with 1,136 pictures on 3 cd's .
If you pre-order using the original code for pre-order+free delivery(as this new code mentioned on page 1 was'nt around when i done mine),you DO NOT get charged for shipping-it does come up free when you order+enter your promotion code at checkout .x.

thats a lot of pictures for 3 cds how big are the files for each picture. Are they realy good quality, could you print them A4 size. I just want to make sure as its a lot of money but sounds realy worth it could you put a picture in this tread maybe to see

Just updating this post - the code I post at the beginning of this thread is set to expire on the 15th June, and purchasing a photopass cd (not pre-purchase) is going up to $149.99 from 15th June

I might bite the bullet and order it now and then just go through the code re-setting process nearer the time if need be. Do you just email them to do this if your code is invalid? How long does it take them to reply?

Well I don't know whether it's just me being thick or what the deal is, but I can't find anywhere on the photopass site to pre-order the CD. I have ordered this for previous trips and had no problem, but this time I just can't find any info about pre-ordering!!

I don't know if the pre-purchase cd is going to go up. From what I have read you just email photopass and they reset your password for you - it only takes a couple of days. I'm going to do mine about a week before we go

I think it would be a safe bet to assume it's going up - the thing with the pre-order is that they say it's only ever a promotion they randomly send out to people (but of course, people on the DIS and elsewhere now know the address). If you can go ahead and book it I would.

I got the CD and Book for $124 dollars.....not bad.

Im going on 15th Sept this year. Can I pre-order now or do I need to wait until within a certain timeframe nearer to my hols.

Does this change if I use any codes?

The word on the street is that it expires after 60 days although nothing in any of the correspondence says this. I know some people have had joy with contacting them and having the code re-instated. It's entirely up to you, but as long as they continue to offer the option to cancel any time you want (for example if you got home and realise you didn't get that many pics or didn't like them) then it may well be worth going for it just now, particularly if it's going to go up.

I had already paid for the pre order at $99.95 when this code came out, and as the email receipt I had for that one didn't mention a postage cost, I thought it was included like last time.

Then people were reporting that this one would add $19 for the cd and $17 for the photobook in shipping, so I wasn't going to bother cancelling and rebooking with the discount code if it was going to add postage when my order included the shipping.

I thought I would just make sure that the order I had paid for definately included postage, before the discount code expired, so I rang them. Disney said no, I hadn't paid for postage, and when I asked why it wasn't mentioned anywhere before I paid or on my email confirmation, was told that it didn't cost anything to email me a receipt, so why should it be mentioned! She couldn't even tell me how much it would add to the cost!

If I hadn't read about it on the Dis, I wouldn't have known they were now charging for it, or how much extra it was going to be. Needless to say, I cancelled that order.

I have now reordered using the discount code, but it really sucks that they didn't think to mention anything, even though, if I had done what I was going to, and ordered the cd and photobook combination, I would then have to pay a further $36 shipping as they won't just charge a single shipping fee, but make you pay for both items seperately!

I think this will probably be the last time I use the photopass system, as I hate to think how much it will be next time I go to WDW, in 2011.

It came up showing International Shipping and then 0.00 so I'm assuming this is included??

Anyway I'll contact them a week before we go to ensure the code is still valid

Higgy66 - the international shipping is only added when you actually order your photo cd, after you have done all of the editing. It is currently about $19.
I phoned Disney and checked, as it is coming up as zero when you pre order, and they have confirmed it only gets added just before they ship the cd.
