I see the deal for the $99.95 for your PhotoCD of your photopass pictures. I haven't been there in a few years so I just wanted some extra info on this. The Photopass is the thing that you get your picture taken all over the place with, right? You give them your card and they take your pictures and everything is stored on the card? So what does the PhotoCD include? Is it every single picture you take, or do they go through and edit out pictures? And how many pictures on average do you expect to get taken--we will be there for a week, and I am considering this photopass deal if it includes all pictures that are taken because it is a huge family trip and about 15 of us will be there.

Thanks!

That deal is if you pre-order the cd. You enter the number on the PhotoPass card(s) from your stay into the website. Then you can edit or enhance the photos. When you've done all of that stuff, you order the cd and it will have all of the images on it.

You can use multiple cards (not sure of the limit). We had over 70 from our last trip, but if you hit every photographer you see, you can rack up even more than that.

Not only is it every picture you have taken... it also includes any boarders / enhancements / crops / etc that you do to the pictures on the website. I racked up over 300 pictures once I had fun adding boarders and stuff to the pictures they took. Also, don't forget to ask for "Magic Shots" when you are down there too... let the photographers know that you prebought the CD and to "Snap Away!"

You do know that you don't need to get a new card from each photographer?

You do know you can use a card at more then one place, right? It sounds like you took a new card everytime you had your picture taken.

That is AWESOME! I think we're going to do it, thank you all so much for the information!!!

We are definitely a picture taking family, and in January for our 11 day stay with my folks we came home with nearly 2,500 pics (thank goodness for digital!). Of those, a good 500+ were Photopass pics. Many of those were later altered with the boarders, dates, characters, etc that are offered, and our 500 easily turned in to about a 750 +/- or so by themselves. Knowing you've got the CD and can then print whatever you want at a cheaper price locally (since you will get the copyright license so you can print them much cheaper at Costco, CVS, Walgreens or whatever local place you have) - sure makes it easy to say "take several" and not worry about it. Part of why we come home with so many of course is that we always have them take one with our own camera as well, just in case. You never know which will turn out better, there's or your own. In our history its pretty much been a toss up.

I think that what SorcererJim is referring to is that that friends or families traveling together can have all of their PhotoPass photos added to the same CD. Last year for a family gathering we had four photopass cards and entered them all on the same CD. I think we had 400 or 500 photos after all the cropping, enchancing and borders were added. My DBIL made copies of the CD for each family. I've read posts that if you have so many photos that it takes more than one CD, PhotoPass doesn't charge extra.

My post wasn't in reply to SorcererJim. It was to mufasa0505's post saying they had over 70 photopass cards for one trip.
