Hi everyone - I had posted back in January when we returned from our holiday trip that I was disappointed to learn that we could not order the CD of our PhotoPass pictures from the PhotoPass web site, but that this CD could only be purchased in the parks. I e-mailed Disney customer service at the time and they said that they would be adding a feature so that the CD could be ordered online. This was supposed to be in place by the end of January, but I never heard anything else about it and sort of forgot about it.

I just received an e-mail that it is now possible to order the CD! It is not from the PhotoPass web site, but a separate web site that Disney has set up for this purpose. If anyone is interested, the address is http://www.register123.com/event/177271

You need your PhotoPass card numbers to order the CD. If you have already ordered from the PhotoPass site and don't have your numbers handy, you can log in to the PhotoPass web site, select the option that allows you to add an additional card. All PhotoPass numbers which you have previously entered will appear.

Thanks so much for posting this! We just returned this past Saturday and we planned on getting the CD while we were there, but we wanted to wait until our last night to get it and of course we forgot!

I think I'll order it online now!

Are these pictures you have taken with your digital camera and uploaded onto their database? Or are these pictures that have been taken of you throughout the park? Can someone clarify where the pictures come from? I have a digital camera and I have a photo program at home that makes photo cd's. I didn't know what the difference in the photopass cd was. THanks

Why is Disney using a "www.register123.com" site? They already have "disneyphotopass.go.com", which is the legit site you get to from the Disney home page. Something about this smells fishy. :(

It also says that these are just the "raw" images, no borders, signatures, etc. I wonder if someone has figured out how to "sneak in" through a backdoor and capture images out of the PhotoPass system? They then sell them to you just like Disney would, but they didn't have to do much work!

It's probably ok, but I'd be wary.

If you order the cd at wdw at Toontown fair, can you put in the special effects such as characters signatures/borders etc???? If you can at wdw, I think I would try to get in done then. Anyone know??

When you purchase the CD in the stores at Disney (I bought mine at Toontown), just tell them that you would like to add borders and signatures. They will take the time to go through all of them with you and put the extras in. There are then 2 sub-directories on the CD -- one with the original pictures and one with the ones that have extras added. Very worth the money!

This seems to be legit. I emailed Photopass.com this morning and this was the response that I received...

I plan to have them extend my photos since they are due to be removed in a few days. I have 80 pictures to choose from and had planned to add borders to a lot of them. We are going back next month so I am going to have them extended long enough so that I can have the pictures from our December trip also added to our new ones. I am not sure how long they will extend them for but hopefully it will be long enough for me to do this!!!!!!!!! :confused3

the register 123 website address is legit. I have used it when registering for pin event related stuff for disney.

If it's 100.00+ on line (crikey!!) how much was it at WDW in the parks??? I was thinking of doing this but might not if it's that much on site too. :confused3

My2Boys....They are pictures taken by Disney photographers with professional cameras. They can then add borders etc. to make the pictures even more special. You just give each photographer your photopass card, and all the pics from your entire trip are scanned and kept together for you.

Is there an extra charge for the borders and signatures?

Someone posted that they would be adding the ride photos to PhotoPass. Anyone know if this has started yet?

I paid $106 with tax in the park. I split the cost with my friend who went with us and then made them a copy (which you are given license to do). To me it was totally worth the expense.

How many times do the Disney Photographers take your picture? Sorry for all the questions, but I am a photo freak. I love pictures pictures pictures. So the more I can get the happier I am.

So for $100 are you looking at average of 10 pictures, 20. They must have photographers everywhere. This sounds really cool, I'm gonna have to definately save my money for one of these.

I believe they can put up to 300 photos on the CD. They can edit them before they are put on the CD.

It's great if you have ALOT of photos taken. Then there is still the cost to have the photos printed (at home or at Walmart etc...)

It's great that it's now available online so you can do it from home now instead of before you leave the park.

I have the same question; how many images are they putting on the CD?

Awwww Man!! I wish I had known about this last week. I have already deleted a bunch of my pictures....

Another question - You know how on the photopass website, they have a set of standard pictures also available? Are these on the new cd also, or just your specific pictures? Thanks!
