Before my wedding I was totally freaking out because I heard such negative reviews on Disney photography, and since I was having an EPCOT wedding, I had no choice. I have to say that I just got my pictures back and I was really happy with them. I loved our photographers.I had Amy and Daryn was her assistant. The morning of our ceremony was really foggy, so I was a little concerned on the quality of the pictures with all the mist in the background, but they really did a wonderful job adjusting to the conditions. I can't really compare them to other photographers in the Orlando area, since I haven't seen a whole lot, but i know that I'm really happy with ours. I know everybody has their own style preference,so not everybody will like the pictures, but hopefully this will help some Disney brides that are scared of using Disney photography!! The site is collages.net/disneyweddings. The Username is: Fowler / Montpetit Wedding and the password is:1971

WOW!! Everything is just beautiful! I'm really impressed with Disney! Congratulations!

I think your pictures are beautiful! I love the blue you had as your colour, and the lightsabers :thumbsup2

I was apprehensive about Disney photography too because of their reputation on the boards, but I decided to give them a try, and I was so happy I did as I really like the results of our engagement photo session. I can't wait for our wedding photos now, especially after seeing yours :goodvibes

thank you so much. yeah, the lightsabers were a surprise to my DH. He loves Star Wars, so his parents bought all of these lightsabers for him. I now have 6 collectible lightsabers and no clue on where to put them.

Those look great! Thanks so much for this post, as I have been stressing a little over this too, as we will be using Disney photogs also. Your make up is really nice, do you mind sharing who you used? And who was the photographer? You had a wonderful wedding! Congrats! Really great photos.:dance3:

Thank you so much Bethany66! For my makeup I used Patricia LeJeune. She was absolutely fabulous! Their website is LEJEUNE-PCA.COM. She did mine and my maid of honor's hair and makeup, and then did my mom's hair. Then my photographer's name was Amy Alexander. I dont' know how far in the planning process you are, but about a month before the wedding, they will set up a time for the photographer to call you and do a little phone interview. She'll ask you what kind of styles you like, whether it be posed or more artistic. Also, they will give you a form and the photographer will also go over it with you, on what specific pictures do you want done, such as do you want a picture of the first kiss, the parents walking down the aisle, the musicians, etc. So if there is anything you really want them to do, then that is the time to request it! Like I had a relatively small wedding, that consisted of all family, so I requested that after the ceremony, that everyone stick around for a bit longer and take a big group shot. Also, I really wanted some pictures done in the Grand floridian lobby, so I requested some shots in there on my way to our reception at Narcoossee's. They were able to do it since there wasn't a bride at the time doing the wedding pavilion, otherwise she would have had first dibs! I know this is a lot of info, but if there is something you really want, then try asking for it You might just get it! I hope this helps and good luck with everything!

Thanks! We're an Escape Wedding so two more weeks before we can get the contract. And the Fiancee's first choice is 10-10-10! We're flexible however, one of my best friends is our Officiant & a notary, so if the ceremony is on a different date that's okay, we'll just sign & notarize on the 10th with a couple of witnesses. The make up is really good, some of her work has looked a little too heavy, for my liking, but yours is perfect. I may just have to go ahead and reach out to her. I head back out to Orlando in August for a Bride/Girlfriend and wedding make up dry run. Anyway, I am rambling. Sorry. Again, your wedding & reception were great!!!!!

Wow! DPS did such a great job! Like you, I am getting married in Epcot, and have to use DPS, so it is always nice to see/hear great things about them.

You look so beautiful and it looks like you had such a great time. I'm so happy for you :goodvibes

That's great that you are happy with your pictures, they're beautiful. We had Amy too, she's amazing. If DPS keeps hiring photographers like her then they'd probably have many more happy brides.

Lovely photos :goodvibes

We had Daryn as our 'secondary' photographer and were really pleased with the photos. We love that style so it worked great for us.

Your wedding was beautiful. I'm in love with the sand ceremony set. Where did you get that frame/holder ?

You looked STUNNING! Congrats! Italy is so beautiful when you take in all the little details.

Thank you so much! I actually had an idea of what I wanted for the frame, and then I went to my Dad and asked him to make me something like that, and that is what we came up with it. I was really lucky to have a Dad that likes to dabble in things like that. My wedding planner actually kept trying to get my Dad to make them for other Disney weddings, but he just doesn't have the time.
