Disney Photographers

besides in the parks and such is there a semi formal place where you can have Disney photographers take pictures?

I know GF used to have a studio there for that are they still there? Or any other place? i know the one downtown has been gone for years.

Hoping someone else knows - we're looking for similar. I'll have 2 military sons with me and would like to get some nice family shots but they don't want to go in a park in uniform. Would prefer covered under Photopass (not a formal photo session) - is that what you're looking for or one you pay extra for? I asked this on a FB group and had people tell me there is still something in the Disney Marketplace area?

There was one in the lobby of G.F. We had our pics taken when we went there for tea. It is so,pretty with the big Christmas tree, so you might try there

But I want it to be a part of the Memorymaker which I guess they would be not. But I could be wrong anyone know?

No, it wouldn't be part of memory maker. The shoots that photo pass used to do at some of the resorts are now what Disney event photography does, and separate from memory maker.

During the holidays, there will be photopass photographers in the lobbies of the deluxe resorts to take your picture with the gingerbread houses and Christmas trees. That might work for you.

Just updating this for anyone looking who find this via a search. We did find they have a small studio in Disney Springs, inside the area by guest relations/D-Tech, etc in the Marketplace area. Just a basic backdrop where they can snap pics. We didn't do this since parking this year is so far away and my guys didn't want to deal with walking around on Dec. 26 in uniform all the way there. We checked in with AKL (we're local and were not staying there) and they told us each morning from 9-12 they're in the lobby taking pics (not sure if this is just a holiday thing) and if we arrived and they weren't too busy and we were willing to wait we could probably get someone to take our pics in other locations. We got there about 9:30 and asked about it. Took some pics in the set-up area by the tree while we waited. They grabbed a photographer and she took us around the resort and took several pics - all included free and with our annual pass photopass. The whole thing took about 30 minutes.
