Has anyone purchased a Disney Photo Movie DVD on DisneyPhotoMovie.com? If so, were you please with it? It says you can upload pictures from your DisneyPhoto Pass? Do you have to purchase those photos first before you can upload them? It looks like a really cute slideshow.

I got a reply from Disney Customer Service regarding the PhotoPass pics. There is no additional charge to add them to the PhotoMovie.

"Adding Disney's PhotoPass photos is simple and there is no additional
charge to do so. To add PhotoPass photos to your PhotoMovie, enter the
16-digit PhotoPass ID number(s) from the back of your card. If you
have
more than one Disney's PhotoPass card, enter each number on a separate
line. After you have entered the number(s), click the "Upload Disney's
PhotoPass Images" button. Your Disney's PhotoPass images will appear
in
the "My Disney Photos" tab on the right side of the screen. You may
have to scroll down to see all of your Disney's PhotoPass images.

You can add more Disney's PhotoPass ID numbers or upload more of your
own digital photos after you have begun building your PhotoMovie.
Simply
click on the "Add Photos" button in the PhotoMovie builder to return to
the Add Photos page of the site. You will be prompted to either add
Disney's PhotoPass Photos or to add photos from your own computer."

I purchased one. We love it! You do not have to purchase the PhotoPass pictures, you type in the number from your card on the PhotoMovie website and they will appear for you to add to your movie. My girls think it is the bees knees to see themselves in the movie. Feel free to ask my any other questions. :tink:

Shana,
Thanks for the reply. I think that I'm going to purchase it. I will do it when we have a lot of shots on a photopass so that I can combine them with my photos. Too bad the pics on the photopass only last 30 days. From the demo on the website it looks like a really cute movie with lots of effects. It had offsite pics like the hotels. Did they have all the hotels to pick from? If you think about it, the photomovie is more economical than buying the pictures. You can put like 60 something pics onto the photomovie.

Janet,

You are welcome. Glad to help. They do allow you to chose the hotel, they even have the DVC resorts. You can not chose more than one hotel if you had a spilt stay though.
