Hey all! I rarely post on this board, but get a lot of good info from y'all. I have a bit of a predicament. Our 45-day/last payment is due tomorrow. Due to some unexpected vehicle expenses, we don't have the whole amount available in our checking account. So, in order to keep from dipping into savings, is there a way to postpone this last payment with our AAA agent? I can make it work, I would just rather not remove it from savings if I can pay it next Monday. THanks for any guidance you can offer.

I would defintely call and check with your agent, but in the past I have heard people not making their final payment a little inside the 45 day mark.

Thanks for the response. We could swing it, but I just don't want to move the money out of savings. It is a relatively small amount, but anytime I have to move money from savings, I get sick on my stomach because I think about all the things that money will go to in the future. It's crazy, but it is just me. I'll check with my agent.

Do you have a Disney Visa? If you do you could pay it with that and it would be no interest/no financing for 6 months.

Charge it until next month and you will still pay no interest if you pay it on time.

If you were dealing directly with Disney there would be no problem; all you would have toi do is call them. However, since you went through an agency, they "own" the reservation and their rules apply.

You can always lower the days on your ticket or drop the park hopper option for now. That will get your total down and you can either upgrade again when you visit guest services at the park or call and add it back on your reservation when it gets closer.

Yeah, those were my suggestions. Usually, Disney Travel services will give you a few days, so maybe AAA can work that out for you. I agree with PP about reducing your hopper, but if you have the 5 for 3, that is not really a good deal! Hope it works out.

Just take it out of savings and put the money back in on Monday when you have it. Seems pretty simple to me.
