Disney parks parade help!

Okay so I've been hearing so many different things. What is the exact date... 11/3 or 11/4??
Also, do I need a special event ticket? I have a premium ap.
Lastly, any news on who's performing?

The unannounced "official" taping date is Saturday, 11/03. Sunday, 11/04, is supposed to be the backup date. We've never needed a special ticket in the past. Your AP should be just fine. Have no idea who's performing. Have you looked at the Dance the Magic site? That's the site that reported the parade dates earlier this year.

No, you do not need a special pass, just park admission. We were there last year for it and they were very hush, hush as to who the performers were. We talked to one CM and they said they don't find out until they are assigned to that section (whether it's in the park or one of the hotels). It was packed though, just to warn you. The rest of the park was good though. We didn't stay for the parade. Have fun!

If you are intending to watch the filming then you will need to wear holiday attire.... at least that's what DTM told us. They want it to appear to be Christmas day.
