Disney Parks " Disney Time" Sweepstakes- Any Other Winners?

Did you win OMDD as well, or was it a different Disney contest?

I won the Disney Go Wild contest. It was a similar prize, but included a VIP tour, and the gift card amount was different. We went this past October and stayed at the Grand Floridian. Disney totally takes care of you when you win their contests!

I'm trying to enter each day, but I keep forgetting! I think I have a 60% success rate.

I made an entry on my calendar on my smartphone so every day it chimes and lets me know it's time to enter the sweepstakes again. :)

Congrats Gantu and Kirby!!!!!
I started entering today (where have I been?).
We're planning a trip for next month, but if (IF) I win, we'll cancel that trip and go with the prize.
We live in FL and will always do WDW.
Does anyone know if you don't need airfare, what they do with that money?

TIA.

You could always go to Disneyland!

Super lucky day to someone!

Congrat's! What did you think of the Flo and can you tell us about your VIP tour?

I read in the rules that if you live within 250 miles they do not fly you but pick you up and transport you in I am assuming some sort of black car or limo. But if you are asking if you get a refund or some other amount, no.

[f] if winners residence is located more than two hundred fifty (250) miles from City 2, round-trip coach air transportation (with possible layovers) between a Sponsor-selected major metropolitan airport near winners residence (airport of origin) and a Sponsor-selected major airport in or near City 2; but if winners residence is located two hundred fifty (250) miles or less from City 2, round-trip ground transportation via a Sponsor-selected method between winners residence and the hotel;

And yes I would go to DLR. You can go to WDW whenever you want. Do you think you would ever get to DLR?

Just finished reading the entire thread. Congrats to the two DIS winners so far. pixiedust: I would love to win a trip to Disney. I might would pick DL since I have never been there. However, I LOVE WDW, so I would probably choose that. Would love to stay at one of the Deluxe hotels, but anywhere at Disney is better than nothing!party:

So, I just got an email from Sunsweeps offering a Disney Trip contest on Facebook. Turned out to be this contest and I now know why so few Disers have won. The contest thread on Facebook had almost 31,000 likes!!! I don't think last year's contest was as heavily advertised.

Won't stop me from entering daily though:thumbsup2

The Grand Floridian was really nice! We wanted a resort on the monorail since we had a double stroller to deal with. Our first choice was actually the Poly, but we didn't get that. They were doing some renovations while we were there in October, but we didn't really miss anything. The kids loved the new splash pad at the Grand Floridian, and the pool slide.

The VIP tour was awesome! We had our own personal tour guide to take us wherever we wanted for 8 hours. We chose to have it on a Saturday, so it was nice to be able to hop right into the fast pass lines. We also got VIP seating for the 3pm parade, the electrical parade, and fireworks. We had family visiting Disney while we were there and I was able to include them in our VIP tour experience, since you can have up to 10 people.

The whole trip was truly incredible. They made absolutely everything about the trip magical. We extended our trip by 3 days and they also greatly discounted the room rate. So, if you are thinking of extending your trip-do it, you won't regret it!

Cool! I remember that contest. Congrats on your win. :)

I do feel like this contest is more advertised than last years. Plus there were basically 60 days of contest winners, where as we only have 31 this time. The combination unfortunately makes for fewerd DIS winners this time :(

They don't come and pick you up. If you live within 250 miles or want to drive yourself they will probably give you gas cards. That's what they did with a few of the OMDD winners. I can't remember the value though...maybe $500?

I was just posting whats spelled out in the rules and it says ground transportation provided under section 5f.

http://disneytimesweeps.com/official_rules.html

The rules say that, but that's what it said for the OMDD contest and I don't think anyone that drove got transportation. If they did, I think it would just be bus fare or something like that, it wouldn't be a car or private thing. They did give gas cards, though, so people could drive and not really have any expenses.

I've been following this thread from the beginning so I don't think this has been asked yet (unless I missed a few posts along the way)...but can you have 2 people fly out of one city and 2 people fly out of another city? Or does everyone have to fly out of the same city?

I've been trying to enter everyday, it would be nice to win so we can go on vacation, lol.
I rarely win anything, I did win an adult mountain bike when I was 5 from Burger King, hehe.
Sending good vibes to everyone and hope one of us wins!!

I hope this helps, its from my paper work:

[f] if winner’s residence is located more than two hundred fifty (250) miles from City 1, round-trip coach air transportation on a Sponsor-selected carrier between a Sponsor-selected major metropolitan airport near winner’s residence (“airport of origin”) and Orlando International Airport; but if winner’s residence is located two hundred fifty (250) miles or less from City 1, then round-trip ground transportation via a Sponsor-selected method between winner’s residence and the hotel; [g] airport/hotel transfers if air transportation is provided, and [h] one (1) Disney Florist welcome basket for winner, as chosen by Sponsor (value of US$275). Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): US$5,060 – US$5,696, which will vary depending upon point of departure and seasonal fluctuation of hotel rates and airfares,

Thanks for all the congrat's!!!!

I have been wondering the same thing as the other couple I would want to travel with dh and i(if we win) live in a completely different state. I figure I won't stress about it though unless we win.

So I know they will let you add on extra days but will they let you add the dining plan? We've done Disney without it and I just would prefer to have it if we won. I'm praying we win one day soon! I'm getting antsy not booking our next vacation but I wanted to wait til after the contest just in case we get some magic our way!
