How does the parking work?

If you went to say, MK in the morning, then went home for the afternoon then returned to MK, would you need to pay for parking twice?

What about going from a morning in MK, then driving to Epcot for the afternoon, would you need to pay twice then?

And finally, do you need to pay at any of the hotels if you are going there for dinner?

Thanks :)

Your parking pass is valid all day at any of the parks car parks, just keep your ticket.
As for the hotels when you arrive at security just tell them that you have a reservation for lunch / dinner and they will give you a 3 hour parking pass.

I think the Swan and Dolphin hotels charge you to park there, whether you have a reservation or not.

Just to add a question to this thread. If you breakfast at Chef Mickey or O'Hana can you leave your car there and take the monorail to MK :)

I did it a couple of times last year when I had breakfast at Kona, and again when I had dinner at Chef Mickeys then went to MK for the evening. I had a Disney parking permit in my car (for a different hotel) so I'm not sure if that helped or whether they are totally OK with it. We certainly had no problems though

I'm pretty sure that, at least at busy periods, you get a certain amount of time at the resorts car park around the time of your meal (about 3 hours i think?) :)

Don't get me going about parking in UK, This morning went here http://www.ysp.co.uk/view.aspx?id=3 parked up for 1 hour cost £4.
Last time I went to Harrods I prked here http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/consumer/article.html?in_article_id=442677&in_page_id=5&in_page_id=5 £43 for 6 hours.

And people complain about $12 for a full day, transferable to 4 parks:rotfl2:

Yep, parking over here is ridiculous!
The new Q Park here by Liverpool One (new shopping area) were £2 for 2 hours when they opened (bargain!) but are now up to £4 for 2 hours - needless to say i'll be getting the train in now if I go shopping there!!

They will normally issue you a 3 hour parking permit. I have heard the Comtemporary is strict on this and have towed cars that have overstayed :scared1:

You can pay to valet park and stay all day but it is the same cost as paying to park at the TTC!
