My wife and I have purchased our park tickets via Undercover Tourist. I have loaded them to My Disney Experience. My question is do we receive physical park passes (last time we were there, about nine years ago), we had physical card passes that had a picture of a Disney character on them that were swiped at a card reader at the front gate.

It is different now? Is everything electronic (simply show your tickets on the My Disney Experience site?)? We are staying off site.

Thanks in advance!

Did you choose e-ticket or mailed when you checked out? If you chose e-ticket, you will not get a physical ticket sent to you. If you chose mailed, then you got an email with info on how to link the tickets to your MDE but you will also get physical ticket in your snail mail.

I chose the e-tickets. Does that mean we just bring them up on our phone on the MDE site to show the front gate?

Yes, and at the first park you enter they’ll give you plastic ticket cards, which you can use the remainder of your trip to enter parks as well as Lightning Lanes. However, if you have MBs all you need to do is scan them at the park entrance. Or, if you’re staying at a Disney resort the front desk can give you Key to the World cards which will serve as room keys as well as park tickets.
