Disney Park Merchandise Offers

Anyone else notice that Disney was offering Merchandise Specials this past week?? For example if you bought $40 or more worth of merchandise at resort hotels you could get a nice tote for $10 or at the MK emporium you could get a throw for $15 if you spent $60. My only regret is that we spent $120 and only got one throw. Oh well. Do they do this all the time, in summer only, or is it something new they are trying in to get you to spend a little more $$?? they did not do it 2 years ago when we were there.

This sounds neat! We've been to Disney World every year but I don't ever recall seeing them offer anything like this before. I hope they continue to have special offers!!!

They were doing the tote bag special during both our January & May trips.
We visited 7 different resorts during our trip & each gift shop was advertising the special.

I got 6 of the tote bags to bring back as gifts for DD11 & DS8's teachers!

They loved them!!

*They were not doing the special during our May 2005 trip.

When we were in Disney World, Sept.2005~ we went to the World of Disney Store and they had this really cool big picture of a bunch of the Characters around Cinderella's Castle and it also had there autographs on it! I think it was if you spent $50.00 or $60.00, you could buy the picture for $5

I hope when we go in Dec., they have more things like this!

They are still doing this.

We got one in May 2005 & a different one in Jan. 2006 (when we were there this past May, they still had the same one from our Jan. trip).

DH owns a frame shop - he framed them beautifully!! They look fantastic!!

I picked up one of the tote bags at OKW on our March trip. I take a bag back and forth to work and just swapped out my old beat up bag for my $10 heavy duty WDW bag last night. I love the long handles so it fits comfortably on my shoulder. Of course, the majority of "stuff" in it is WDW vacation planning material . I love to get a "bargain" at WDW .

My family & I were at WDW last December when they said if you purchase $30.00 or $40.00 (can't remember the correct amount but it was one of those 2 figures ) you can purchase a watch, but we got it for $10.00, not $19.99, so they obvious lowered the price. In fact just before our trip ended the watches went down to $5.00, so my guess is not a lot of people wanted them.

We picked up three of those pictures last May 05, by breaking up our purchases. One for us and one for each of the married adults ( do you still call them kids ?)

Didn't see the pictures, but I got the tote deal too! I LOVE IT. It is huge and easy to carry. Can't wait to pack it with stuff for next trip! Of course, it will look rather ratty by then so will need another!!!!

When we were there in May the litho promo was at the World of Disney Downtown, the throw was at the Emprium on Main Street and the totes were offered at the resort gift stores.

There have always been signs displayed at the cash registers.
Just check there.

I got one of those in July!! We still need to get a frame for it!
