Disney Park Hours Change

Did anyone else notice that the park hours (including EMH) were posted through January 5th,2018 online, but now they are gone? I wonder if they are changing the days and times for EMH in 2018 and that is why they disappeared, OR if it just a simple glitch in the system. Either way... I have been stalking that page everyday so we can plan accordingly for our trip, and now it could all be changed. Oy!

I'm leaning towards glitch.

Disney IT and the glitch are synonymous.

And even when the calendar does appear - the hours posted will not be solid for months. And just when you think the final hours revision has been posted an update comes through.

I don't even know that they July hours are solid right now. I wouldn't hold too much weight planning your trip around park hours. They will change.

Frustrating--July 7 is the day I can start making my ADRs, and I'd like to know park hours before I do that. I'll probably need a day or two to plan and talk it over with my family.

Did anyone happen to get a screenshot of the hours that were posted by chance? My ADR's start on the 7th too and that info might help me out. First time trips are crazy intimidating to plan... Lol

Yes I noticed too! Sorry I didn't see your post earlier and made my own post. I am trying to plan my dining and was hoping that the hours would come out a week before my 180 so I can plan better. But I am guessing it's usually a 9 am opening? Esp in Jan

I didn't get a screen shot but I put them on my spreadsheet for 12/30-1/5. My ADR's start Monday. What dates do you need?

I wouldn't put very much weight on the January '18 hours right now. I read on a blog by, I think Touring Plans, that the final MK hours matched the posted hours 6 months in advance less than half the time.

I also checked the posted hours for January 2nd for the last five years, via wdwinfo, and every one of them, MK closed sometime between 11pm and midnight. The initial posted hours for Jan 2, 2018 is that MK is closing at 9‽

In your case, January 5th is during Marathon Weekend, so the hours will most likely change.

Here's what I had for January 3rd and 4th....but like someone else said....they will probably change!

EPCOT 9a-9p
DHS 9a-9p

Hours can change, and so can EMH. I already had my trip planned for Dec., and made my dining res., and Disney switched the EMH days on Dec. 17 and Dec. 19. Epcot was supposed to stay open until 11:30pm on the 19th, now it's on the 17th. Same with HS - EMH on the 17th, now it's the 19th. That little change has screwed up those two days for me. And right now, the site is down and I can't even check for openings in dining to try and switch. Good thing I check the hours every week! And my trip isn't until Dec., but who knows how much will change between now and then.

That far out your best bet is to look at hours from this past January

They've changed to later hours on the day before!

They've changed to later hours on the day before!

They typically only change last minute like that on major holidays, though.

For our trip in September, most of the parks close at 9pm. Any chance of those hours changing and the parks staying open later? Other than random EMH?

Yes. The hours you are are not the final hours. Last year on non party nights MK was usually either open until 10 or 12
