Disney Park Hopper passes

Im a little confused, we bought 4 day park hopper passes for disney. Does this mean that we can go to more than one park in a day? Or if we go to 2 different parks in one day do we use 2 days worth of the pass? HELP!!!!!! This is our first trip to disney

then you can use them to go back and forth between parks as often as you'd like on any given day. Once you enter any of the parks, one day is deducted from your pass. Then, you can come and go as often as you'd like during the day, "hopping" between the parks. When you leave the first park, you will get a hand stamp that will allow you to re-enter any park later in the day.

This allows you to go back to your resort to relax and perhaps swim a bit, going back to the parks for dinner or a show later on. You will be able to use your passes for 4 separate initial entry days and those days never expire if you don't use them all on this trip.
