Disney Paris - The Condensed Review

Oh you'll love it hon, it's magic!

Sure I'll go to WDW if the person telling me to puts up the money!!! till then i'm sticking to my beloved DLP.

If youve got nothing nice to say why bother saying it all.

People should be free to say what they thought was good and bad about DLP - though obviously we much prefer to hear about the good things......!!! ;)

Amazon, I'm really glad you found this board helpful for your trip planning - I'm just sorry that DLP didn't live up to your expectations. I have to agree with bavaria, I think it was your comment of "Well, don't go to DLP, go to WDW Florida." that rather fazed people!!! Fair enough, this is your personal choice, but I don't think you're going to get many of the DLP lovers on this board to do that!! ;)

I totally understand your enthusiasm for WDW and I hope you have many more wonderful holidays there. :goodvibes And one day, maybe you'll give DLP another chance :flower3:

Thanks for your understanding. When you remove the 'dream' and the 'fantasy', all you are left with is reality. I just wanted to put the 'reality' point of view to those who perhaps had missed my point.
Anyway, enough said on the subject. I'm looking forward to the new Disney rumoured to be built on the Costa del Sol... :)

{shudder} What a thought!

SO glad they built in France, rather than in Spain.

I know its a little early but perhaps someone should start a new forum entitled DisneyLand Costa del Sol. At least if you don't like the place you could always get a tan. :lmao:

You wont be going then? ;)

On the basis that this rumour has been running for a while and mainly property agents in Spain appear to keep igniting it, don't think I'll need to think about it soon :)

I'm happy with the DLP forum :goodvibes

not really - I think if there is to be a disneyland in spain, it was engineered to produce a choice of disneylands in europe - and hopefully they will do it the right way like they did with the disneyland ca and WDW - made each totally unique.

we don't know disneyland costa del sol, but we DO know disneyland paris, and we love it!

I agree with you here:thumbsup2

IMO i cant see there being one there, interesting rumour tho.

The rumours have just started again in the local press over in Spain - I wouldn't mind as my Mum is moving to Spain!

well i've had a look about the internet, and most sources are saying that it is actually a children's educational and adventure camp they are planning on building, rather than a full-scale theme park :confused3

to be honest there will probably always be whispers of a spanish disneyland, simply because before disneyland paris was built, spain was the other main contender. however spain seems to have lost the deal because they had too many clauses and demands, and in the end, disney plumped for the paris site.

yeah my bf's parent have just brought a house in spain lol,

but all the things i read are from estate agent type websites, hummm

A reminder to all to stay on topic :)

Please feel free to take off topic discussions to the Mousecellanous thread :thumbsup2

Back on topic.
Maybe it would help if you put your sunny glasses on when you go.
Mostly it’s a question of “do good, meets good”.
There rude and unfriendly people every where.
We travel for our work more then 25 years through almost the whole of Europe so I met a lot of people and mostly when I come back from shopping I have lots of friendly story’s from different people.

The meaning of expensive is so different for everyone.
One person can buy a stamp for a 1000 pound and think he’s got a bargain whilst the others thinks he’s gone mad.
Everyone had to decide for its own purse what he can afford and then enjoy the Magic.
