What part is live and what is recorded?
(looks like the actual parade is live but all of the singing acts plus Regis is recorded)?

Lucky you are seeing it now, it's not on until 1:00 here.

I don't believe any of it is live. The parade itself was taped on 12/4.

It's a rainy day here in Orlando. The parade was taped the first weekend of December.

I have to wait until 1pm also. I have the tape recorder set (tested it twice to make sure - not very good with electronics,etc.).

Yep, the whole thing is taped. And its a good thing too because its raining at Disney today. They can't take that chance so they tape in advance.

Just watched it here in Canada. It was good. Makes me wish I was there.

It's 1pm here, and it just started. Now to look to see if there anyone standing in the crowd that we know!

Did anyone notice on the ariel shots of the Magic Kingdom, the 20,000 leagues lagoon was blue and the skyway was operating? Wonder how old that footage was?

My DH wants to go next year and he wants to know what time do you have to get there to get a curb-side seat? (He doesn't mind waiting.)

you know..we asked about when they were taping the parade cause we were there when they were taping and they were very hush hush about the times...we got there when they were taping diana digarmo and you can see my head and my hubbys backside on the show today....but all the times we asked we got the same answer that lots would be taped before the park opend etc....its crazy how they tape the stuff....i was happy to be able to experience some of it first hand..

If they tape before the park opens how do they get the crowd of people on camera? I also would love to go to see some of this being taped and was wondering the same questions.

There was a casting call for "extras". You had to be there for 7 AM and they wanted you there until 11 AM. Then you were free to visit the park for the rest of the day.
