Our Hines too, we are very proud of our native son, Forest Park is a suburb of Atlanta and of course you got one of the best UGA Dawgs. Hines is a great ball player Congrats to Pittsburg.

Did you hear Hines give props to Forest Park when ABC ran the starting line-up intros? I am a Gator girl, but I still love Hines.

Yeah Steelers!!!!! All of this makes me miss "home".

My DH is from McKeesport and right now there is nobody happier than him and my DS who was just 6 months old the last time they went to the SuperBowl.

If anybody gets any great pics of the parade--please post them. DS would freak out!

We are especially looking for pics of the Bus. When DS was little, my DH's good friend who was some kind of scout got them tickets to be on the field at an exhibition game. DH said the players may have thought DS was somehow related to an owner or something--cause they paid so much attention to him. (I think its just cause DS looked so cute all decked out in Steelers stuff). Anyway, they played catch with him on the sidelines, Jerome and Kordell Stewart both signed his Steelers hat. Although we live in St. Louis, DS has been a die hard Steelers fan ever since--facing the wrath of elementary school Ram fans without fear!

Anyway--we have satellite tv with every station known to man so DH can watch the McKeesport Tigers Friday night football games--I wonder if we get that Pittsburgh Channel so we could tape the parade. Anybody know?

Well my friend got picked to be Grand Marshalls of the parade with the Steelers can you believe it?
He just called and is about to be sick.
He said the local Pittsburgh stations may run the Disney parade on Wednesday.
As for the Pittsburgh channels, all the local ones KDKA, WPXI and WTAE should be showing them so hopefully you can locate one of those.

DD just called and said she got some great shots. Can't wait until she sends them to me. She said the parade was supposed to step off at 2, but it was more like 2:30 or later. She was working, but was able to get away to watch for a bit. She said it was just Ward, Bettis and Bettis' parents (who had their own car). As a PA girl living and working in FL, and the daughter of some hard core Steelers fans, she just had watch! If she sends me anything I can share, I will do so....

Oh my goodness! I been watching this thread and searching other boards hoping that someone could give us a report or pictures!

Your son is a year ahead of my daughter, and yes she goes to Colfax, 6th grade..

Did you see The Bus being interviewed at Disney? He had on his GOLDEN MICKEY EARS! To Cute!! He did say he will be here in Pittsburgh for our Parade tomorrow,,, and I will be there with my 2 daughters! I cant wait..

BTW,, I'll be on the look out for you,, and will beep when I see you,,, I have the blue Mini Van with Golden Mickey Ears..
