I just wanted to let everyone know I put the return packages in the mail Tuesday afternoon (4/16). I would like to thank everyone for all their hard work. I would also like to thank the ladies that sent hostess gifts also.

DISNEY SWAP LIST

This would be a swap that would include all the elements on a Disney scrapbook page. This would be an open swap. You could pick whatever category you like. There can be more than one person per category since there are so many things related to Disney.

This would be an open swap where you make or buy something for every person in the swap and then receive something back from every person in the swap.

This swap should give us all a bunch of supplies and super decorations to get those Disney pages completed.

If you need ideas relating to any of the categories, feel free to email me for a idea list. If you have any other ideas or suggestions, also feel free to email me.

I'll take sign ups until March 11.
In my hands deadline would be: April 8 (over a month away)


Here is a list of some possible items for the swap:
Topper - 1 per person, 8.5 x 11 sized, either matted or embellished
Border - 1 per person, 8.5 x 11 sized. either matted or embellished
Journal Box - 2 per person - matted once
no smaller than 2 x 4 & no larger than 4 x 6
Punchies - 1 baggie per person (30 small or 20 medium or large)
example: stars, bows, mickey, pooh, primary shapes, castle, footprints
Stickers - 1 medium sheet or 2 small sheets per person
Matted poem or quote - 1 person - matted once
Measurable Embellishments - 2 feet per person
ribbon, rafia, specialty fibers, or wire
Die Cuts - 2 per person
Tags - 3 per person. no smaller than 2x3
Fabric squares - one 5x5 square per person
Title squares - 20 squares or shapes
can also be flowers, hearts, ovals
Cardstock squares - two 4x4 squares per person
Pattern paper squares - two 4x4 squares per person
Specialty paper squares - one 4 x 4 square per person
Shaker boxes - 1 per person
Very simple paper piecing - 1 per person
Phrases - 3 phrases per person, either matted or decorative cut edges
Countable embellishments - 10 per person
eyelets, buttons, charms, mini beads
Anything else you can think of - varies
Full sheets of cardstock - 2 per person
full sheets of pattern paper - 1 per person
full sheets specialty paper - 1 per person

Hello everyone!

Well, the sign up time is over with. It looks like this swap will be for a group of 7 people. I wish to thank each of you that did sign up and I do hope you enjoy the swap.

You will need to send in seven pieces of the item you selected. Please enclose them in a one gallon size ziplock baggie to help prevent any water damage. Your items will be returned in this ziplock baggie. Also don't forget to enclose a piece of cardboard in you envelope so you items don't get bent during shipping. Write "DO NOT BEND" on your envelope also.

I need all the items in my hands by April 8. If everything is received early then I will make the swap early.

Please enclose a self addressed stamped envelope in your package. You should enclose enough postage to match what it cost to send your package to me. I would suggest you enclose a couple of extra stamps just in case they are needed.

I was at the LSS today.. I know what I want to purchase of the swap...
Die Cuts!! They had the cutest Spaceship earth die cuts!! and some other cute disney ones. Let me know about how many we will need, so I can start picking them up. they didn't have a whole lot out..
However, she said they could order more...

Here is what I can do so we all can know exactly how many items to make or buy. I can make the swap for just a group of 10 players. You may sign up just once or more if you want. Once the group is filled then we can all buy or make our goodies for the swap.

How does this sound to everyone?

Buckleybunch, the die cuts sound so cute. I listed the die cuts as two person so you would need to send in 20 die cuts then. Let me know if this is what you want to do for sure.

Once everyone else decides on what to make or buy, I'll start a list up.

I will do some matted phrases.

Oh wow those die cuts sound adorable. I will sign up for journal boxes - two per person right? I'm going to the LSS today to look for some cute embellishments to go on each box. By the way what do you all like in the way of lines or no lines on the boxes. I hoping I don't need to add lines, but just me know. I've seen them both ways.

I'd like in. Can I send a 8/1 X11 specialty Disney Paper w/ coordinating cutouts?
If so choose between Woody paper that had a boot, spur and sheriff stars
or a Mickey blue tiles (exclusive to the Making Disney Scrapbook Pages magazine)
or a Pooh themed since we'll have a Pooh paper piecing?
You all choose, and I'll get them color copied, which turns out as nice and clear as an original. IMHO.

Can I play? This sounds like lots of fun and I have tons of scrapbooking to get caught up on! I can do the Disney punches. How would that be? I have a Mickey head punch and a Pooh punch already, and I could buy a couple more to go with them. Hehehe... any excuse to buy more SB supplies!

Does anyone have a preference to which paper? If I do the pooh, it will be a paper called Pooh quilt. It's new and can be cut apart and used w/ buttons as a Cut As A Button type layout.
The blue Mickey tiles I can make some Mickey head punches (mounted on squares w/ coordinating colors)
There's the Tigger bounce paper, even a choice of the castle paper or ToonTown paper. You guys let me know something.
