Disney Outlet Stores - Vineland location versus I-Drive location

The crew has decided that spending some quality time at a Disney Outlet store is a good idea during the upcoming December trip. Having never been to either of the stores that popped-up on a search of Google maps would anyone have an opinion of whether there is any difference between the two locations? I'm guessing that prices will be virtually identical so I'm mostly curious as to whether there is a good reason to visit each location - is the variety of stock different, or maybe one store is larger than the other, maybe one store has more clothing and the other more toys - things like that. TIA

The Vineland store is bigger than the I-Drive store. Items are generally the same price at both stores, but sometimes you can find different items between the two (with a lot of overlap). It can be worth visiting both.

However, I've heard that the prices have gone up significantly at both stores in the last month, so the deals aren't as good. Disney is having some supply chain issues and needs to keep stuff on the shelves.

The parking garage at Vineland now charges for parking, so we went to I-Drive last time.

It got to where it was too crowded to go, parking has a fee or uber cost. The store doesn't seem to have as much as it used to carry. We stopped going. Once we factored in the costs to go there and the time we figure it's better to buy online or just pay the full price for a must have item at the parks.

We made a trip to the Vineland store last Saturday and for the first time in forever :), I bought absolutely nothing! Prices were sooo much higher than on previous visits and the selection was pretty slim. I sure hope they return to the good 'ol days at some point.

These stores used to be fantastic and now they are not. We used to go several times on each trip and the discounts were huge. Now believe it or not I have seen some vloggers who vlog there regularly show literally a penny for the discount. If you have an annual pass or any other sort of Disney related discount they it is less expensive to buy at the stores in the parks or at the Springs.

Two years ago they had the shoulder Banshee for 10.00 ! If you go to either you need to be there early in the morning or later at night so you can get a parking space. Although, this past August that was not the case we found spaces at both. The mall owners got greedy and took up most of the spaces for pay or valet (nothing I love more than handing my keys to a perfect stranger and say go ahead drive it).

If you have outlet malls anywhere near where you live (because pretty much they are all the same stores) the rest of the stores are pretty much the same. The only thing special about either location was the Disney Outlet. Now there is no reason to go to either and if you live in a state with no or lower sales tax than FL then you are actually paying more.
Save your time and take the money you might have spent and go to dinner, a movie or an extra day at Disney Springs where at least the ambiance is enjoyable, and they don't charge to park, YET!
