Disney Outlet at HH

Has anyone gone to this? Is it worth the trip? Been to the one at Premier Outlets in Orlando. Is this the same? Thanks.

We visit HH every year and the outlet is one of our favorite places to shop. It's not as large as the stores in Orlando. The inventory changes several times a week and they discount items weekly too. We usually go right after Easter so I have been able to get lots of Easter stuff for 75% off!

There have been years when I didn't find too much there, so I think it can be hit or miss. If you are passing through it would be worth a stop but I wouldn't go too far out of my way.....

This is a great outlet with great prices. It's a true outlet store where all the merchandise is discontinued, overruns, etc, and as mentioned, changes quite rapidly.

We've purchased numerous items there at considerable discounts.

Remember your DVC discount will not apply. That's only good at the regular Disney Stores, not at the Character Premier or Outlet stores.

It looks a little different than the Premier outlet in Orlando, a little more sparse perhaps, but much deeper discounts, on average. It's definitely worth the trip.

Was there the day before & returned the day after Thanksgiving. We found a couple of things but many things were in the 2X and 3X range.

We visited this outlet last June. As someone mentioned, it is hit or miss and we missed it!! I would have rather spent the time we took to go the the outlet to take a nice walk on the beach!!

Karen... you're right. The beaches at HHI are wonderful, especially at low tide.

The best deal I found at the outlet was adult sizes Halloween costumes for $25 (but what should I do with this huge Pooh the rest of the year?!). Also, nightgowns were buy on at the already discounted price and receive the 2nd at 50% off the discounted price. DD#2 got one that says, "I love being the Princess."

They have a frequent shoppers card at the outlet store. I picked one up in 1998 and left it in my wallet figuring that I might never return to the store. Amazingly, we stopped in this past July on our drive down to WDW. They had a whole display full of Town Crier Mickey's, so I picked up a spare. We also got some of the colonial beanies, so the trip was well worth it. And I got to use my discount card. It's an interesting little store that IMHO is not worth going too far out of your way to visit. But if you are already in the HH vicinity, it makes sense to drop by to check out the bargains.

We haven't been to HH since March '00, but I thought that there was a 10% discount for guests staying at the Disney HH Resort.

Does anyone know if this is still available?

I know I got a discount - maybe it was my (then) MKC Card - but I thought that my guests were able to use their room keys to get a discount, also.

Maybe I'm mistaken....

that outlet mall can be a nightmare on weekends or speacial days. The traffic can be at a stand still (for what would seem like hours) in the parking lot. The traffic to get out can be troublesome. Here is a Tip. Drive around to the backside of the shopping center---no one drives this way so you can miss all the traffic trying to get out. You will see a golf corse on the other side, find the opening in the trees (not a road) you only have to about 10 feet before you get to a service road. Follow till you get back out to the Highway. This saved us alot of time.
