Disney or Universal?

Well, usually my family goes to disney for 5 days and Universal for 3 days. This is getting a little boring, I mean, the same thing everytime! So.....

HOW INSULTING! WDW ALL THE WAY!!!

Am I the only one who gets defensive about WDW when people are on their vacation and go "Well we went to Universal yesterday..."

See, my family is amazingly abnormal...like in a good way...we don't leave Disney property then entire time we're there unless it's for food (Olive Garden one night, TGIF's the other...not THIS time tho, cuz of the Disney Dining Plan)... or Walgreens to get necessary supplies (which we also didn't have to do this trip!!!)

I get irked, like they're saying Universal is the calibur of Disney or better...which of course they're not saying at all...all they are saying is where they were located the day before...but still...Am I the only one who gets like this?

Disneyworld is MAGICAL!!!!Disney World has the most stuff!!!Disney world has giant turkey legs for petes sake!
Just go to DisneyWorld!It may be a little more expensive but it's worth it!
Princess Ash's family and mine are just the same!You don't need to leave or anything it's like it's own town!This is pretty bad,don't take offence or anything,but when I hear that someone went to Universal I think,YOU TRAITOR!I'LL DRUM YOU OUT OF DISNEYWORLD MYSELF!Even if they've never been to DW.Weird and bad,I know.It is also easier to tour DW.I could go on and on defending the motherland so I just gotta say GO TO WALT DISNEY WORLD!

well we spend the bulk of time at WDW, but still splash in a trip or 3 to USO/IOA/Seaworld. We don't get bored with it and why not were there, in the neighborhood. why limit yourself, they're all fun...can't get that kinda fun in Maine.(beats swattin skeeters)

Disney! I always say you can't go to Florida and not visit WDW!

My family is just like Ash's family; it's Disney or nothing. The only time we leave WDW is to leave for the airport.

Has anyone seen the Universal commercial where a little girl (prob. 8 or so) says defiantly, "If I have to hug one more princess, I'm gonna hurl!" I was extremely insulted by this! First of all, most eight year old girls love the princesses, and why wouldn't they want to hug them? And second, I hate how the commercial is just implying that it's talking about WDW...why can' they just come out and say it? Grrr....that makes me angry!

DISNEY!!!!! there is no way u can beat the most magical place on earth to kids of all ages!!! my family is exactly like princess ash's the only time we leave is to get some food for our room when needed...but mostly we just bring snacks with us....i just got back from disney and i already miss it like crazy!!

What little kid would hate a princess !And if she wants to hurl,she can do it on almost any ride in Universal !!!!!!I think they didn't come out and say DW cause there afraid of us! And they should be!We're pretty scary with our pointy pins and giant turkey legs!!!! I think they should move that kid to the commercial where they're going on the dino floom ride and the lady grabbs her kids heads to hold onto! Aren't I a stinker?

Sorry but I like Universal better. I LOVE Disney, but it got old fast. How many times can you float through the same boat rides and slowly drive through the scenes of Winnie the Pooh? I'm just more of a thrills person, and I LOVE the theming at both Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. It's also more "adult" and has more of a party atmosphere. Just my opinion.

And the Universal commercial? I think it's hysterical! My 5-year old cousin doesn't like princesses. she gets bored with all those movies. She loves Shrek and Spiderman She's the cutest thing, but just not int the Disney characters. So no, she wouldn't want to hug a princess.

Don't worry, I love Disney, too! A lot! And I think it's fine to love both, they're both theme prks there for your amusement and entertainment. You might as well take advantage of both!

I have to say that WDW is far better to me than Universal, I'll give some props to Universal because I enjoy it, but nothing can beat Disney.
