You will usually fnd me hanging in and around the CBR resort thread mostly. Firsty to introduce the gang. My DH and I are from Scotland and have been in Houston Texas for going on 18 years now. We havnt lost our accent incase your wondering so its fun going to Orlando on vacation and have people try to explain to us your debit card may not work out here in the states...heheh just love telling them were from Houston, ( can imagne them saying "well you dont sound it lady" My DH works for computer company and I do wedding flowers and my weekend job is ghost tour guide.

We have two boys DS 12 and DS 6. Now they used to get on wonderful but this last year for some reason the tides have turned and all they do is bikker and argue. Im hoping its an age thing and it will pass!! DS12 has told me in no way whatseover he will be sleeping with his little brother this year so we are praying to the CBR gods that they bestow a murphy bed on us this year or its going to be an air mattress for someone ( not me! hah)

The 12yr old is 12 going on 16!! The 6yr old is just a cutypie..he dosnt even have to try at being cute...he just is.
Another thing I should mention is we are die hard CBR fans..no matter how much we plan to go to different resorts to try them we always end up last minute changing it and going back to CBR. This year we changed it from ASMu to POR to AoA to ASMu then finally...CBR phew! Im joining "resort changes anon" pretty soon.

Every year we make the long drive from Houston to Orlando...I say long as its long for us Scots...if you know British people at all we hate to drive long distances..we tend not to, we take a bus or a train or fly. Heck a 2 hour drive was a long haul! Last year after taking 2 days, over 16 hours to get to Orlando I vowed this year we would be flying. Easier said than done as our Disney vacations are always on a tight budget. No matter how hard we pinch the budget we cant do Disney for under $4000. This year by flying we are definitly going to be well over that limit ! We have the CBR booked, the dogs booked in the kennels but still the flight to book. Now we have all agreed that we will be flying this year but knowing my DH we will try convince us all how driving will save us a ton of money and it will be a fun road trip. NOPE...not going to work..I wont be happy until the flights are booked. Im waiting on some test results to come back from my cardiologist and once I get the all clear Im hitting that United Airlines Flight website like a flea on a stcky bun!

Another note I have to mention. We are not your normal commando type people. infact quite the opposite. We never book ADRs or plan out days but for some reason always manage to get what we want when we get there. Luck perhaps but it always works for us. All we know for sure is we are heading to the Mouse for 7 days and thats all the planning we do. Last year every park we were in I just checked my phone for reservations available that day and always got somewhere nice be it Crystal Palace or Tusker house etc. Now Im not knocking these people that plan their ADRs..its great that they do that..just saying we are not that type of people.

Did I mention Im kinda pooh shaped? fluffy as my DH likes to describe me..and I tend to get into some fun scrapes. I dont let my size bother me and Im up for giving anything a go which usually results in me getting stuck in places and then laughing so hard that I cant move!! Lifes too short right?? you have to laugh. Up next ..last years fun antics on Space Mountain that I hope NOT to repeat this year!
Heres one of my fav pics of the 12yr old finally letting his hair down and having some fun..a rare event that only I repeat only happens at Disney!!
