Disney online checkin - anyone been able to do this if booked with Virgin?

Hi all,

just wanted to check to see if anyone has been able to do the Disney online checkin. I know if you have booked with Disney US direct you shouldn't have a problem, but I thought you might be able to do it when booked with someone such as Virgin as long as you have your Disney confirmation number

Of course its not going to have any impact on my trip not being able to check in online, I would have just liked to have gotten that bit out of the way IYKWIM?

Anyone know??

We booked our room directly with Disney UK but I wasn't able to check in online for some reason

We just checked in on arrival

You may be using the wrong website. YOu have to go to www.mydisneyreservation.com

It asks you how you booked and you click "Through a group or convention" (it's to do with the UK tickets, so even Disney UK guests have to use this option).

You then need your US reservation number. It has to be the 12 digit one as I don't think the alpha numerical one works.

wow, you are the font of all knowledge! Got onto the website ok, pulled up my reservation, was getting really excited that it was gonna work, but got through all the online check-in stuff then got this message:
We were unable to update your shipping address and travel party names. Please try again or call (407) W-DISNEY or (407) 934-7639. If you are under 18 years of age, you must have your parent or guardian's permission to dial this number.

must be doing something wrong, though I don't know what

hmmmmm please ignore the last post.... yes I did get that message, so I entered my details another 3 times as I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong.... guess what, I just got 3 seperate emails from disney confirming that I had completed the online check-in... duh what a dope, that will teach me not to read the whole page properly

Ah, not you. Sorry, I forgot about that. It apparently happens quite regularly and it's just a minor site glitch. Glad you got it sorted though. Rather check in 3 times than not at all
